McDonald’s forgot its place that food isn’t supposed to cost that much
The only franchise with x+y managers and employees walk🚶 around clueless
It's Bidenomics.. close country over Xovid which CDC says is now just like the flu. Print money like inflation doesn't occur then watch the economy crash
. DUMBOCRATS
Wouldn’t be if they didn’t have to pay their employees so much. But the day is coming when McDonald’s won’t need to be “manned” by anyone. Kiosks, automated processes, before long these millions of employees will be out on their ass. And the media will convince you it’s because of corporate greed.😂
@@doejohn6865 Even with kiosks and automated processes, each McDonald's will still need to be manned. Kiosks go down, automated processes malfunction and overall a staff will be needed in order to do maintenance and respond to immediate problems.
Everything on the "$1 menu" being $3 is a spit in the face.
Inflation??? Bull crap. Greed.
Ceo of McDonald’s made 14.2 million last year.
Part of it is inflation. If you do not understand how higher gas prices and prices across the board work I don't know what to tell you...
@@thomasjgour4678 a huge part was greed. If inflation was so bad for mcdonalds, how did they still grow profits over 10% last year at over $8 billion? All these companies made record profits last year, inflation wasnt hurting them as bad as they like to say.
@@thomasjgour4678stop making excuses for greedy business people. Govt can print money to pay people and not have them struggle but no they putting this illusion that struggle is necessary which is pure utter bullshit.
Wait? You don't believe that we are experiencing inflation?
Wendy’s already beat them to it. It’s called the $5 biggie bag
I had on a while. burger sat around. wasnt good. Incidentally, I love wendy's.
The $5 biggie bag use to be the Four for $4.
Except in California they are $7-8 Biggie Bags! Thanks Newsom.

Fast food restaurants are just as expensive as a regular diner. May as well go in and sit down and have a nice dinner, then spend the money on fast food.
It's actually cheaper to go to a sit-down restaurant where we live.
Except I HATE sit-down restaurants with crappy waiters & tipping. I will not tip. It's the employer's *JOB* to pay their employees, NOT MINE!
@@sci-fi.tsunamiAnd yet, you spend money there, which, in turn, makes them profitable, which pays the employees. Your anger is dumb and misplaced.

exactly, they grew PROFITS last year 10% at over $8 BILLION. How is that possible if they are saying inflation makes them raise prices? Its not that they are losing money, they just arent growing EARNINGS for their shareholders. Mcdonalds and companies like them dont give a damn about customers, employees, or the communities they serve, its ALL about the shareholders.
And the customer service at Mickey D's is Crap. 😳
@@dougfredricks2017 its crap because they are short staffed and know they are all being phased out. Look at in and out where there are lots of well paid, respected, and happy employees

Fast food is a complete rip off. Tiny portions, so you don't get full, and you're destroying your health eating chemicals and it's expensive. You're essentially wasting your money and poisoning yourself, not even getting full, why bother.
They definitely doing it to sugary food, idk why or what's going
I love girls that eat fast food it makes them sexy and they burp loud from it
I remember back in the mid 90's, Burger King had a coupon for 5 Whoppers for 5 bucks. That was a good deal!
They still do kinda. they’re $7.49 if you have the app.
Before the pandemic they used to periodically run 2 for $10.

That isn't even close to the same, dumbass. And people don't wanna use an app. Idiot!

how about they stop giving their CEOs million dollar bonuses.

so you think if they pay a CEO 125 thousand a year things will get better? Wow, education in america has failed.
derp....
That’s the problem too.
@netcwntric yeah he made 14.2 million last year. Even if he made half that he’d still be in the top one percent. Lee Iacocca, bermoser and Estes were only making between $250,000-$300,000 in 1981 CEOS of the big 3 autos. The average UAW pay was $40,000.
Today Ceo of Macdonald makes 14.2 million. Average annual pay at McDonald’s 30,000.
CEOs salaries are the ones that have gone up astronomically. Not your average worker.

$48 to feed two people at Taco Bell. We just gave up on fast food altogether. We can go for a sit-down dining experience, with much better quality food, for less that fast food. Local Chinese food was $32 for the same two people. Do the math.
Haha, what? What planet are you buying Taco Bell on for 2 people that cost $48??

How does it fee knowing you stopped mentally developing at the age of 9?
Increased costs are always passed along to the customer. This isn’t rocket science.
It’s called a happy meal. 7.99 in Hawaii
They just offered the happy meal. But, now it's not just for kids. It's for everybody. But, you don't get a toy with this meal.
Have you ever seen the commercial. Where is the beef. Where the beef Pattie is buried under the pickle. Well, it's not a joke. Customer are asking were is the beef patty. Only to find it under the pickle.
It boggles my mind people are more worried about price than eating the chemicals that are in it
Look at CZcams video of McDonald’s food being prepared, looks like some manufacturing station, shame on them overcharging for that crap. If you’re gonna spend that kinda money buy some real food.
Keep it simple and bring back the $1 menu, problem solved
The fast food industry is out of control.
Its called greed
Ceo of McDonald’s made 14.2 million last year.
I promise you this is for perspective franchisees not because McDonald's cares u wont but their ten dollar big mac's. For the last time mc Donald's is a real estate conglomerate not a fucking restaurant chain.
It will never work.
Will this be in calf. With 20$ a hour minimum wage. ?
i used to remember when on Wednesday was 59 cent hamburgers and Sunday was 29 cent hamburgers when i was a kid and $5 on those days would feed a family of 4
And straight to the comments to see how many people need to tell us they don’t eat McDonald’s. What’s the over/under?
Cracker Barrel costs the same as McDonalds, big difference in food quality.
A restaurant in my southern Ontario hometown is now charging $16 for a burger. Now that is greed.
Wendy's Biggie Bag you can get a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, fries, 4nuggets, and a drink, oh and if you have the frosty Keychain, you get a free frosty!
That use to be the 4 for $4 menu before it's was discontinued on Jan 1st.
@@shanechannel7066 True but with inflation, The Biggie Bag for $5 is still a better value than majority of these fast food chains.
They should go back to 39 cent cheese burger Sundays and a large fry for a dollar.

Do you think something similar for breakfast should be available ?
It should be two Egg Mcmuffins for one dollar!
Just ordered two Mc doubles one small Coke one small fry it’s $9.75
Why would you willingly do that. You just told mcdonalds that’s it’s okay that they’re screwing you that hard. You have no right complaining

They are too late!!! My family will never eat there again, their prices are ridiculous!!! We have found alternative ways to eat while avoiding their garbage!!!
🤦♀They're not doing this for you, so how are they too late? You think they care that you personally made an empty promise not to go there again? Their 2 for $4 McDouble deal is pretty good. Also, they have good offers in their app like fries for 1.30, Big Mac meal for $6 or something like that.
Watch they end up announcing 5 chicken nuggets for $5 🤦🏾♂️
For $5 you should get 72 Mcnuggets!
So bad for you so people really don’t care that now they have to avoid it bc of the cost. Better health for us!

Buy 2 and get 1 free is probably the way to go from a probability standpoint
It’s just expensive to get more than once a month
What's funny about McDonald's wanting a five-dollar meal first they've got to get rid of the fake food and put real food in the deal. I'm still laughing.
Wendy’s is not 5.00 any more depending on what city you purchase in its 6.00 to 7.00 here in Cslifornia
Its not just the price but food quality. Its always cold and not made to order.
They already have a $5 meal deal.
At am/pm you can get 2 beef hotdog full of condiments and a large drink for 5
McDonalds: started off nice, ended in the dumpster.
If fast food is getting expensive, then you know there’s a problem 😑
Hell look at there new building looks like a doctor's office.
I had seen videos of where a McDonald's burger actually remains intact when liquid metal was poured onto it...or a cheeseburger actually look the same after it was left alone for a year, no mold or color change... I stopped going to McDonald's
They need to bring the $1 Menu back. That's the only way.
McDonald's should be considering having a single restraunt get my order right...
Wonder how much food will you get for $5?
So basically they are copying Wendy's $5 Biggie Bag.
Every Saturday me and my wife would get a big breakfast 4.99 each after Covid slow down 2 years ago McDonald's Jack their prices up 9.99 each I looked at my wife she looked at my wife she looked at me she said let's go back home for breakfast I've never been back since neither has she.
So what. I vowed never go inside that place again. I SEND MY OLD LADY
In 1965 as a first grader in New Haven l paid 18 cents for a hamburger.
Those were the days...
Ordered large fries back in February at my local McDonalds. They no longer come in those large red boxes at 0:35 . Instead, they come in a small white paper bag with the word Large on it. It's reduced by about 40% in size so wouldn't be surprised if they did the same for the $5 meals.
They had $5 meal with junior chicken which is now obviously much higher price.
All the burger chains are ripping people off. Two of us went to an A & W. Two burgers, two fries and two drinks set me back over $45. Never again.
My local mc Donald's is empty. Drive thru is empty and maybe 1 or 2 people inside. Plus they never get my order right.
I stopped going there, I cook at home, and it's more healthier.
Those same items on this menu used to cost 1 dollar. I'm traveling to California for 5 months for work. None of us will be eating out with fast food. Cook your own stuff and save your money and live healthier.
😂 even at $5 still not worth it! The dollar menu would have cost $3!!
They get too greedy !
It's only a promotional trick ,that will only be temporary
How much profit does the corporation makes? Pretty sure they’ll blame it wages
The McDonald’s ceo made 14.2 million last year. About 970 times more than a min wage worker.
they grew profits over 10% last year in the midst of complaining about inflation and wages. Over $8 billion.
LOL "they can't blame it on wages because they totally have enough money to shave off their profits". It's so sad that an actual adult said this. The fact that you can have the worldview of a literal child and be allowed to vote.
@@sneksteppy so you grew to the grandpa you sound like still with no common sense? A company complains about inflation and higher wages, then complains people arent buying its food anymore, while paying their CEO $19m and making billions in profits. Do you understand what "optics" means? Or do you have a dictionary on your dusty bookcase you can look it up in?
Billions a year while the Franchisees make about a quarter a million a year.
The fries are the most ridiculous price. Almost $5 for large fries. That's a $5 potato. Yes it's cut and fried, but still, it's a potato.
And they’re thinner. Corner store fries are thicker than McD fries. I could get a small order for the same price and it would literally fill up a large fry holder. Plus they skimp on sauces at times. 😂😂😂😂
They need to bring back all-day breakfast first.
In 10 years a young American student will raise her hand and ask her teacher what was a McDonald’s?
If you read the print on the value menu, it says “ may be harmful for dogs or cats”
Pre pandemic a $5 value meal would have caused outrage
McDonald's should just bring back a real $1 menu. Mcdouble, McChicken, 6 piece nugget, small fry or small drink
considering?? They've already had this in France McDonalds for quite some time.
what happened to the .99 cent big mac deal every year??
I just made a delicious egg and cheese sandwich on wheat toast. TOTAL COST: Less than $1.00
The entire fast food industry is in trouble if they keep the high prices. Most of us that grew up with the cheaper fast food will just stop going all together. I would rather go to a sit down restaurant than spend $50 at McDonalds.
