Thank you for watching this video! Please like this video and comment, let me know what you think! I have been woodworking for a few years and this was the biggest project I have taken on so far! It was a really fun build and a big thank you to my client for trusting me to build something new for her and River Table Epoxy AKA The Epoxy Resin Store for the top notch epoxy that held this project together. www.theepoxyresinstore.com/?a... use code bruceburnswoodshop10 to get 10% off your order!
I would also like to mention the majority of the epoxy woodworking tips and tricks I know come from @BlacktailStudio & @John_Malecki
They are a big inspiration in my work and if you guys want to learn more about woodworking I highly recommend checking out @BlacktailStudio virtual workshop. It has everything you need to know about woodworking!
I have a full time job and woodworking pretty much takes up all my time outside of work. I absolutely love it and I have plans to make some really cool stuff in the future! For those of you who don’t know I do mostly fractal wood burning and I have a couple really cool fractal videos coming down the pipe line now so stay tuned for that!
Once again thank you guys so much for watching and for everyone who has supported me on my social media platforms; speaking of here’s all my other socials:

BruceBurns, I preferred your design choice on the walnut coffee table where the epoxy tint complemented the wood grain's color. I think it would have been as attractive a top (or even more so) with some yellow/brown 'maple' coloration in the epoxy similar to the 'copper/golden' tints in the walnut top. Just taste, sure is a nice job! No cross grain channel or inlet legs' bolt plate?

Nice video. The finishing is exquisite.
Just wondering how difficult it is to make tables with the “roughly finished” effect at long edges? They look somewhat like part of the trunk, are somewhat uneven in that there are slanted edges and the long edge curves, similar to the patterns in the wood grain. So the effect is as if they sawed off half the trunk and used the flat surface / cross section as the table top.
Would also be interesting to see what effect it gives if the wood had been cut into planks, segments of you will, following the more obvious grain patterns, but in that each and every plank is different from another plank, and then line them up side by side, with a small gap between each one, and the gaps need not be evenly spaced, but varied. And then after pouring resin to fill those gaps. 😁

Sorry, dumb question... is the epoxy holding the whole thing together? Or am i missing something?

Bro, this table is beautiful. Incredible craftmanship. How much would you roughly charge for work like this?

Thank you so much!! This table sold for a little over $2,000 to a friend! This was my first dinning table so I didn’t make much money on it, basically just covered materials and labor! Thank you for watching!

The wood looked good, what kind was it?

    • @bruceburnswoodshop1620

That was a Spalted maple slab!!

It looked good but filling in all the knots and soft spots in the wood took several hours. So there’s a price to pay for the good looks.

Great video bruce! Beautiful table! earned yourself a subscriber. I came from your fractal wood burning video! I am deeply sorry that everyone has started attacking you and your beautiful work because it's dangerous. I came from Ann (How to cook that) as well, but I know many hobbys can be dangerous and shouldn't be tried unless taught the correct and safe way. For example: Both Scuba and Sky diving, hunting, etc. Even driving can kill you but we still do it. Please don't let these people get to you and continue doing what you love! But of course stay safe while doing it!
