As a Vietnam Vet and one who was called a Baby Killer and spat on when I came home, this hit a soft spot. It is people like you that a lot of us gave our lives for and would still do it. I'm Southern and the color of a person's skin does not define what your hearts is because as they say, We All Bleed Red. Bless you girls and may your fame and fortunes grow day by day.
Thank you for your service 🇺🇸
Thank You Brave Warrior, for Your Service ❤️🙏🇺🇲✝️❤️
We all bleed red and are human beings!
Thank you for your service 🫡
Welcome Home! Thank You for Your Service Sir
You ladies have the power to heal this land one song at a time.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰
Absolutely they can
They said that in the song "one person at a time" ❤
This is real country music right here
Thanks Marvin!!! 💙🎶🇺🇸
I like what the songs are about omg I was never into country except Noah Thompson but you Lady's are great Noah to wow country's making a big change every wherejust you Lady's amazing 👏 💙
I'm a 100% combat disabled Marine from Vietnam. Many times over 50 years I have suffered and cried over the treatment VN veterans received. Not feeling sorry for myself but collectively we were treated like dirt. Chapel Heart, you ladies are a renewing source for me. God Bless your sweet spirits, your beautiful music and for spreading goodness. Please be real so I can visit your music and know America has a chance because of wonderful people like you. God Bless. This is one of many poems I wrote that shows the treatment and the cause for pain we received.
BABY KILLER
Baby Killer!
Is that what you called me?
How good for you,
That it's not true.
Baby Killer!
That is what you called me.
Is that what you see,
When you look into me?
I went to war in your place,
Because you were afraid to go.
You hid behind groups of peace,
While in the name of peace, you rioted.
I shed my blood on the battlefield,
For an ideal in which this country was founded,
While you wore flowers in your hair,
And smoked pot, where love abounded.
I wore camouflage utilities,
And slept on a blanket in the rain.
While you wore peace signs,
And slept in communals.
I gave my last measure of bravery,
To drag my comrades out of danger.
And you call me Baby Killer?
How good for you that it's not true!
@Ben Drake (1999)
Ben you absolutely don’t know what this message has done for us today! Thank you for your gratitude and transparency. Your poem moved us!We love you, we THANK YOU, and we are proud to call you OUR American HERO! 🇺🇸❤️💙🤍
@@ChapelHart Oh my, I'm in tears. I'm crying. You wrote back. It never occurred to me you would do that. You are so special. Keep it up ladies. You have a fan for life and a man who loves you.
It makes me physically sick and hurts my heart that any vet was ever treated with disrespect and dishonor. Every single vet takes an oath and they live by it. Offering themselves as a sacrifice of need be in place of freedom and liberty for the people. The same people who have no idea what the true cost of our freedom really is. That it comes from the selflessness of our vets who paid the ultimate price, their lives. So for anyone to disrespect or dishonor any vet should be made to walk in that vets shoes during a time when an enemy is trying to collect that payment. Let that person see and feel exactly what it was like for the vet. Sadly that person wouldn't have a clue in the end still. Because the vet willingly put their life on the line. That person wouldn't do that. I would like to thank you for your service and your sacrifice you made for those of us who do understand as best as we can without actually being a vet ourselves and also apologize for those who didn't and will never get it. You weren't meant to be a pawn in a political agenda. You were honoring your oath and following your orders. Thank you again.
@@jennifernorton8289 Thank you Jennifer and may God bless you
My dad went in the army at the end of World War 2.
He still had nightmares woke up in the middle of the night screaming. The men and women of the armed serviced desire all the respect in the world.
They protect us make us feel safe
Thank you always.
This song can be about South Africa as well. SOOOO beautiful. Myself and my husband are DJ's on there radio for South Africa .We are going to play your music and introduce you music to South Africans. Fly high ladies. We love you.
Good music always resonates good feelings. Kudos
Which radio station? I am South African and shame I love country although it's labelled "white people music*
The lyrics brought tears to my eyes...they are what this country should be!! Born & raised in Wisc, in Calif since 71. My street is a United Nations of color!! We all watch out for each other, the young ones & the elderly (me). I have learned so much from them all !
I am a Veteran and the widow of a Vietnam Veteran who stayed in the Air Force 20 years. My blood runs patriotism. Than you for this song. America needs it now more than ever.
I'm a Latina immigrants and I live in a country town near Wisconsin. Even n though I like country as music I always avoided it because the people that have always been racist towards me in this country town is what they listen to. so as a way to protest for myself I decided not to enjoy it not to give it a chance not to listen to it. But after seeing you ladies it showed me that music isn't for some people and not for others and you better believe I'm going to be jamming out in my car making all these country people listen to your music and appreciate the works and arts of other people. I wish y'all the best. You have a fan out In bumblefuck Illinois :)
I'm so sorry that you have had to go through that. Believe me not everyone is like that. God bless you and your family.
@@pampearman7435 awee thank you
Cindy. Take no notice of the racists. They are racist because they are unable to embrace the fact that there are good and bad in all cultures. I come from a county in the North of England, Yorkshire, and, although we have our problems, we welcome everyone. don't let em get to you Gal. Be proud of who you are!! And enjoy ya Music!!!Regards. Mark Hall.
Cindy, I’m so sorry you experienced this. Not everyone is like this. There are good people still don’t let the haters get you down! I’m white Irish background and I had a retired cop ( working security ) tell me what filth I am and how horrible, stupid and lazy All Irish people are just by my name. I was born in Canada now live in USA.Had his ass fired! The company apologized, terrified I was going to sue, all caught on camera. Never let people like this affect you! They are small minded jerks who have been taught to hate. Be well, be happy and enjoy the music!
Live your life! ❤️

My favourite lyrics as well, move the hate. So poignant
I served 22 years in the military. This song reminds me of what I served for!
No other way out folks!
UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE WILL FALL !
This is the American pride I want. Somewhere along the journey “American Pride” turned into something else. But this is what I want. This is the American pride I want to feel. It’s what I want to experience.
Love this y’all included “ALL” Americans.
With all the negative in the news you ladies truly best American Pride

Y'all rock!! You will absolutely single-handedly bring unity to this country. God bless you! ❤🇺🇲
God we need this more than ever now. Beautiful song and wonderful sentiment.
Wow ladies. Y'all spoke to me on so many levels with this one. From my life long connections and love for people of color around me, even when elders in my home spoke wrongly of them, to being a football coach's wife for the last 24 years, living under the Friday Night Lights in Texas. Beautiful. May I get to see you in person one day and hug your necks. So proud of y'all!- Heather
This is Powerful!!! 🙌❤️ thanks for the love Heather
This is my America!! It's what I served for and sacrificed my blood, sweat, and tears for along with a few friends who made the ultimate sacrifice along the way! Thank you ladies for your Beautiful souls and showing my America!! Love y'all!!
The most beautiful song I've ever heard. Not only is it country music, but it's also what we need today. "American Pride." Thank you, Chapel Hart. I'm so proud of you.
No matter how many times I hear this song, it always brings me chills and tears of joy literally streaming down my face.
I’m 54… Just old enough to see how far we came as a nation breaking the walls of racism and hate to see a small % of people attempt to destroy our Freedom by posting us against each other.. see? I’m a little white country girl who grew up and had two beautiful sons by a little black boy from Batesville Mississippi…I know what it was like walking around that town big and pregnant standing beside him… then…(our sons now are 26 and 33) I know the betrayal of my own…then…
My God we’ve come so far… wounds healed.. fears , unwarranted dislike… all dismantled from hearts… only to see us as a nation go backwards? I wept listening to this song … yea, I love country music but I’m not going to lie… for such a time as this young ladies… This nation needs you!! My babies that we raised without hatred for any shade of skin… my beautiful grandsons who may never know that there was a day in this nation, with a few ignorant exceptions (there will always be a few sadly), we were climbing that mountain to see the top….
So please follow (“I will follow”😉) your heart and dreams…. Millions of us will stand beside you and help carry the flag of freedom with you!
Whether you win AGT or not… (although I pray you do) you’ve already seen the mountain top in your hearts! May God Bless the road untraveled ahead!
AMERICA loves you! Thank you!
🙏🙏🙏
BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN!
I'm a Black woman from a big city on the east coast who enjoys a little country music but never really feels pride in this country. This video and the song made me feel hope that we can do better.
I think I have found a new favorite country artist! You guys are fantastic songwriters! Keep spreading the joy!
OMG!!
I’m in prideful tears!

I hope you gals sing this on AGT! You girls might be what's needed to heal the country. Keep that American pride!
I was going to comment the same thing, instead I'll give yours a like.
SAME! Finals baby! This song's the winner!!!
I hope they do this for the AGT Finale! This is the message that must be heard nationwide!!
That WAS the final...written by them just for that.
@@mabloodhound Not sure what you mean. This song came out a while ago. Premiered in April.
@@heatherschroeder9414 Yes, you're correct. I thought they had said they just wrote it but yes it came out in April.
This song will get all Americans realizing that we need to unite because if we don't then outside forces will bring us down, and I know that we can stand up against anybody who wants us to hate each other. Come on people do not let the fools tear us apart and tear this country down, NOPE!!!!!!
WOW WOW WOW!! I just love this song. It brought tears to my eyes and filled me with pride to know we still have people who believe we can do it together!! Thank you Chapel Hart!!
More country like this would bring me back to listening to this genre the way I used to. It reminds me of the country of the 90s.
Love you ladies. Love your talents & love your patriotism ♥️🇺🇲
OMGosh... I truly love this...
This Country has been so split of late... There has been so much blame and hate... It is so good to hear something so positive.
America IS Great... It always has been 💗
love this group. they have produced wonderful songs. They have a very bright future
This song made me cry because it has such a powerful message and meaning. I remember what it was like when kids played outside and neighbors loved each other that's how it was when I was growing up. Then I look at the world today and my 9 year old daughter and it saddens me. We are going backwards racism is getting worse not better, oborisian law just went back 50 years, with cancle culture cartoons, words even some songs that came out when I was a kid are unacceptable we are banning books changing history and sports teams are even changing their names. Kids don't play outside, neighbors don't even talk to each other anymore and it saddens me that this is the world my child is growing up in. Then I hear this song about making a difference and I fell in love with these girls even more. They are just what we need right now.
Another amazing original song from Chapel Hart. And very timely: it sweeps aside all the political pettiness, and focuses on our shared ideals: Truth, Justice, Equality, Freedom, Family, and the Courage to stand up for others. We owe these to each other, and they define Americans as a people -- not where we're from, not how we look, but who we hope to be.
Look out for the haters. Here we have three black ladies singing about American Pride, love for country, respecting the family, unity, love, and even fatherhood. That is not P.C. Chapel Hart, keep singing and bringing your beautiful music and positive message of hope, healing, and humor to America. We need to hear it.
Not only fabulous harmonies with beautiful voices, but these songs also have stunning, thoughtful lyrics and arrangements! Sing this one on the AGT final!.
My mom is from Poplarville, she’s a Slade-Woodward and my family lived on Slade Woodward road obviously lol Zora Ln was named after my mawmaw
I'm replaying this over and over....I'm only on your third song.....and I already know the words.... Shatter that glass ceiling ladies!!!!
I do not like country music as a general rule. But I am a great fan of yours now. Not for this video only, or your Jolene video/song, your Daddy Do video is amazing. To be honest the fact that you include all people in your videos and show that everyone is the same is something that is so needed and beautiful. So, while I am not a country music fan, I am a Chapel Heart fan. My husband however is also a country music fan, so you have two of us. Thank you for everydthing.
This is exactly what we need in these times. We are ALL the same and in this together. Love you so much Chapel Hart! YOU are what we need in these times.
YES!!! You ladies are and should be great inspiration to ALL Americans as wonderful examples of how one ought to have AMERICAN PRIDE!!
You Gals are a true inspiration to all Americans, Thank You and may God Bless the Journey
I am a 75 year old lady! I have never been into music, yes I enjoy it, but not a groupie! Until now. I love these woman, I get tears in my eyes over some songs. I love this CHAPEL HART, these woman are fantastic and deserve all the accolades they can get!
Thank you for that! It's been a long time since I have felt ANY American Pride. But that song, written and performed by you girls, just relit the spark. Thank you
Always on point with the songwriting. This is your bread and butter in the music industry these days. Copyrights and royalties. Keep it up!
Damn right!!! Wish everyone felt this way! the world would be a better place!!!
❤️❤️❤️
Yeh it makes me sick when some people (clears throat) act like there’s nothing special about being American. 🥺
You ladies may not have won the $1 million, but you have won more than a million hearts! Soon grateful for you all!
You ladies are the most talented lyricists in country music right now. I can't imagine any artist that wouldn't want to collaborate with you. As an old Navy gal I can tell you this song touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes. Freedom is not free.
Love you guys and wish you every success. You are what is right with America. You bring ME american pride!!!
I really think this should be the song heard by all... From the ranchers to the farmers an our women an men who protect us daily. We have a pride that runs deep and in God we trust!! Everyday. No matter what religion or color political views!! Pride is in our blood.
I heard your song for the 1st time today and all I can say WILL YOU BE OUR PRESIDENT!!👍👍❤🧡💛💚💙💜🙂🙂🙂
This will be a great song for the final on AGT. You ladies are so talented and you’re working so hard. Even though it might be tough being women in your industry, you are Stardust is eternal, keep that passion in your heart and the light in your spirit forever bright.
With my love for all Veterans is very strong, as there are three in my family, and I am very grateful for those who share those experiences. This song makes me cry every time I hear it. I remember asking my father about his experience when I was a kid. He got really upset and left. My mother told me that his best friend died in his arms. He was still affected by it until the day he died. Again, I thank you all for your protection. ❤
You ladies are not just country, your the healing our nation needs!!!!!! Keep the PEOPLE real!!!!!!
Bro sometimes with all the problems América has it can get hard to have “American pride”. This beautiful trio of amazing and 100% what country music should be/look like! You can have him Jolene and then this! Brought me to tears!!!
I feel like every person in America needs to hear this, especially in these dark times. Love the strong message and the beautiful melody. Thank you ladies for reminding me of my American Pride ❤️🤍💙
Their music is MORE than country, more than a category. Their music is PEOPLE MUSIC. Love them. Thank you, AGT, for the five Golden Buzzer push!
"People Music" a gift!
I love you ladies, can't stop watching your videos, you ladies are totally the best. You ladies are wide open for a music award. The best, that's all l can say.
Class act ladies!!! Way to go on AGT tonight!
Whatever You Ladies do, REMAIN AN INDEPENDENT ARTIST!
From one Mississippi (Petal) girl to 3 others, if y'all sing this on America's Got Talent, you'll win the whole shootin' match!
TOTALLY LOVE 💘 CHAPEL HART! WE'RE NOT PERFECT, BUT WE LOVE OUR COUNTRY! NOT THE RACE BATTING POLITICIANS AND MAIN STREAM MEDIA! DIVIDERS NOT UNITERS! GO CH!
Oh ny gosh!
I just saw you ladies on AGT (?) on CZcams and I cried so hard through this song and hearing your story about not being accepted to country music because it doesn't look like you ( maybe not exact words, but exact meaning) , sweetie I just turned 60 and I've been classic rock, southern rocks, oldies, country through the 80's trend, rap, hip hop, Christian and now I a mix of it all. So I just googled your group name and I LOVE American Pride even though I can't listen to it without balling my eyes out, that is a good thing because it hits my soul and it is what our country SHOULD be about and how it WAS and hopefully will get back to!
I'm SO GLAD I found you ladies and your music, I will be listening and sharing your music with family, friends and "MAGA FRIENDS"
I hate the label, I usually write it out.
Thank you and God Bless you all, and America 🙏🏼🇺🇸
Well done ladies..."loving neighbors land and freedom". I teach Civics at a public HS and your song is my new class anthem.

ON this VETERANS DAY, I want to thank you for your service. Welcome home. BLESSINGS 😇
I think that's horrible that Nashville didn't step up and give them a record deal... They DEFINITELY deserve it! Anyway, they've got a fan for life here❤
As a Navy Veteran Spouse..thank you for this song...😭😭
i love that this song hasn’t given up on america. i love my country. i’m proud of it. everyone is focused on what they don’t have and don’t necessarily have. but i haven’t. i’m really glad yall haven’t either🥲
I don’t even like country music but I love this song and this group!
Well now you can join the club of country music lovers.👍😊

I love this song. Part of this song remind me of my childhood. And my grandfather and his brothers fight in WWII.
What America is supposed to be about!!
I can't remember listening to a song that within seconds started my tears to flow. I connect to this song from deep within my heart and the experience of my early childhood. Thanks so much for making American Pride.
New subscriber here. Thank you ladies for representing folks like me: being a black woman raised in rural part of the USA that values God, community and country above all. It's not often our stories are told. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your gift to the world. Loving your music Chapel Hart!

You three ladies came along at the perfect time and with the perfect music. This is just what the doctor ordered to heal our country (America).
Thank you from a american vet.
There have always been homicidal maniacs' and evil politicians. Unfortunately history does not record the relationships we have with our neighbors. Thank you for doing that
American lives matter! All of us have American privilege being born here despite our race or group. Love Chapel Hart and the US!
Everytime one of y'all's videos comes up on my phone, I have to watch it. I know y'all going to be such a big hit. Congrats!!!!
being canadian first time hearing this love it this is a true american song and it is time for a lot of of us to take a step back and see what is going on in america and the world with all the hate and racism no matter what colour our skin is we are all the same time for everyone to show some to love
Certainly hope you ladies use this song as your next stepping stone to the top. Music like this makes me proud to be an American!
"Jesus and Alcohol" brought me here, subscribed. Can't wait to see what and where else you fine ladies will go with your talent. I hope "American Pride" will get lots of play time~ it's awesome! Love from Ghana(GH) west Africa, Just watched u guys on AGT
This is one of my most favorite patriotic songs I've ever heard. So inclusive and positive. Thank you beautiful sisters.
I'm so glad that AGT brought you to our awareness. If you don't win that could actually be a plus because then you won't be under contract to them for 10 years. You are ready to fly on your own.
Prayers. Love. Blessings.
