Bizarre Modernized Schindler 330A Hydraulic Elevator at Bellaire Medical Plaza in Houston, TX.

Video Recorded on December 11, 2022: Since I was here for a doctor's appointment as you have seen the band-aid on my hand for my blood drawn test shown in the beginning of this video, I definitely needed to get a fully updated take of this elevator here since it's long overdue. For those who have watched me for a very long time, you might remember this elevator from my very old videos. This was the same exact elevator that got a very bad door disease as it got stuck midway the last time I came here. But aside from that, this elevator was originally a Schindler 330A with HT fixtures until it literally got modernized when it's not even 10 years old. Most of everything else is original with the only exception of the button panels, call stations and COP. Speaking of that, the COP design is quite bizarre as well. They literally put in a 3-floor COP but covered the third-floor button with a circle just to use floors one and two. Also, they even appeared to have slapped in a GAL floor position indicator on the forehead of the COP as well! Thankfully, this elevator runs quite well being outdoors and considering it's in an Asian environment. Installed in 2006, partially modernized in the early to later 2010's.

Looks like they installed used parts. The button brailles look like the ones they used in the '90s & early 2000s. They look older than the original fixtures LOL!

Indeed, innovation series elevators taking over Schindler but surprised Schindler still makes 330as, been making them for over 20 years

I find this mod to be extremely goofy, but lazy. Like literally, there's 3 different type of buttons. The invisible 3rd floor. And original HT indicators.

A very rare Schindler with innovation security!, you most normally see those fixtures on a Monty kone

The control operating panel was replaced with Innovation Security, so Schindler had nothing to do with this. Schindler originally installed this elevator.

I bet this COP was used fs. This is a major backwards bc if it was Modded with Innovation Early to Mid 2010's, they'd use the current or previous generation of Innovation, but this time, they used OLDER Innovation Security from the mid to late 90's so this Elevator got not just Modded, but Originized bc they had HT from 2004 or 5 & they replaced em with OLDER fixtures that were used from another Elevator. This is such a WEIRD & STRANGE Mod. Schindler HT 330A slapped on Modded by MK even tho it doesn't exist anymore?? WHAT??

They literally did a slap-on mod. Kept the original parts and put new parts over it.

But the COP itself is from the 90's tho which was used from another Elevator that is 3 story's. In fact that the 3 button was glued on which again the COP was definitely used from a 3 story Elevator you can tell by the look of it

Schindler chime: not working, Schindler Lamp: not working, floor indicator: not working. 4000 pounds geez. Only thing they did to this was change fixtures. same motor and probally same logic.Also they probally charged them 10k for it
