Great review. Thank you, on the back of this I’ve just gone & booked us a junior suite for our first ever cruise on Discovery for next year (hopefully 2022 is a safe bet Covid-wise). The bath & lack of shower curtain is definitely a winner for me! Can’t wait 🚢 💞 🤩

I loved the junior suite and thought it looked very spacious. Always good to have sunbeds on the balcony as most ships get quite busy on the lido deck on a sunny, sea day. I thought it strange that the water wasn't included in the all inclusive but good tip to take your own water bottle.
It was a great space, we loved it! Yes we thought that having a suite would include water, but water only came the Premium Drinks Package and we had the standard. The sunbeds were great as the Lido deck got so busy and it was great to have our own personal space!
Yesterday I watched all your videos of this trip. I love hearing your accents. It reminds me of growing up in Sheepscombe near Painswick. I now live in Cumbria. Looking forward to your next trip.

What's the sunbed situation like around the pool(s)? Do they get reserved with towels like at hotels or it is properly managed? Can you book them or is there no shortage of them? Never cruised, so no idea what to expect. Thanks...
Can get very busy, if you are a sun worshipper you would need to get there early just like hotels!

No problem, sorry just realised it was the wrong ship 😂 - We had the executive suite on the discovery TWO, which is one below the royal suite on the D2 (I think there were 5 of them) unfortunately it was below the islands bar though so a little bit noisy sometimes - not that we were in there much
@@SensoryPlayToys Yes there are about 5 we had a look around them all, they are all offer something different! Being on deck 8 there is always the chance of noise from the Lido deck unfortunately. We would love to stay in them, maybe one day!

It would get warm.on there depending on the position of the sun.
Finally got decent Wi-Fi... sat down in a motel room to watch your video. Pretty good overall.

I will say this for the room tour, it shows the room actually in use and not statically empty.

Lol only 3 needed for this trip! We loved our stay in this cabin, so much space and storage, just wish we could afford it every time!

I’m not sure what you mean by over hang. But I don’t recall there being any noise issues, glad you are enjoying the videos😃

Excellent we really loved ours! If you do pick a cabin ours waa really quite but some are directly under the pool deck so check the deck plans.
@@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel can’t believe it. The cabin we were looking at is the same one 😂 not many have the inside cabin left opposite so we looking at that and 8555. Picking the starboard side as you will get the sun on the sea day sailing east

In our experience the shop will be the same. We always use a travel agent now so if there are any issues we have a named person to do all the contacting of TUI/Marella takes all the stress out of it. We use Dan of GoCruise&Travel who always price matches or sometimes beats on line too. You can contact him here 01622 891895 or by email dan@gocruise.uk.com he is great and would definitely recommend.
