I agree with you that maybe our language is a factor why most Filipinos are good singers.
We love to sing even centuries before karaoke was invented. Our ancestors even have songs for praises, courtship, before going to war, etc. We just love to sing 😁.
filipinos love all genres of music, ballad, pop, mellow rock, rock, rap, gospel, jazz, reggae, rnb everyone listens to his her type of music.and yes we own a karaoke unit. and if we cannot bring our karaoke unit, we have it on our ohones so we can sing wherever we want😅

karaoke probably ,but usually poured in our heart the emotions we feel when we going through something on other hand we are train when are very young when look forward to be an excellent singer in the future. dedication is a big part of it.

It is true. (About each house having a karaoke machine.) It may be hard for you to believe because you might be imagining those karaoke machines set up in Karaoke boxes. Not those. Do you know those viral mall singers? Those happen in stores that sell Magic Sing microphones. They are programmable microphones with a remote control pad. You program your mic, insert a karaoke DVD, and the mic acts as a remote and a microphone. So you basically just buy the microphones and DVDs and use your own TV. Can you imagine it from my description? Electronic stores usually have a sample Magic Sing set up that random shoppers can try. That’s how you get the viral videos of Filipino mall singers. 😂

I have a suggestion for a reaction: Harry Mack. He is a freestyle rapper. Now, hear me out I know it’s not your normal kind of content, but trust me, Harry Mack is a master of his craft. He does full on improvised 2-5 minute songs, while using suggestions from the audience. It’s absolutely mind boggling what he does. I’d suggest his Omegle Bars series, honestly you could pick any one episode and you’d get an experience you’d never forget. But if I had to choose I’d start with episode 52, if you want something recent, I’d suggest episode 82.

first, it is because our main language is Tagalog, most opera singer knows that Tagalog is a singer friendly language because of the vowel formation for each word, second our official language is FILIPINO essentially Filipino language is composed of Tagalog, Bisaya, English and Spanish, thus the tongue muscle memory can mimic most of the accent, then third is the fresh air of the tropics which help for the air control and lastly we love to sing on a sitting position - notice most of the filipino singer are more comfortable sitting down while singing

No, not every Filipino has a karaoke machine at home. Costs too much for the average person. BUT, they can certainly rent one whenever they wish, usually at a cost of about P500 (about $10 a night), depending on the area. Almost always, someone in your area, and usually more than one, has a karaoke for rent, and they use it for extra income. There are two for rent within a block of our house. IF you're having a b-day party, wedding, anniversary, etc...there WILL be a karaoke there! Not every Filipino is a good singer, by any means, but so many of them are, and they are usually not shy to sing. It's considered as being sociable and sharing, good or bad singer. Even if your bad, you will get support and applauded for trying.

I thnk filipino songs is so hard to sing thats y when filipino sings english its so easy bcoz in flilipinp songs u should sing it with much emotion and perfct pitch and the love of legendary singers and songs that usually filipino sings it helps filipinp to become good singers.
