- In this video I review the GI Joe Cobra Ferret ATV and Scout by Hasbro. I’ll compare it to the original O-Ring version, look at the design, sculpt, paint and assembly of this.

My Ferret is on the way, but I really like what I've seen so far of that chonky blue beast. What really sells it for me is that Scout with her MTX vest and helmet.. looks badass.
I think they did a really good job leaning into extreme sports lol

Funny this is like the one vehicle I don't really want with the one driver I really do want. I'd probably get 4 of her if she was available individually.

Mine is supposed to be here tomorrow. I've always loved the Ferret, so I'm happy to be getting one in Classified scale. I do believe the vintage one looks better with the separate molded engine. The sculpted engine detail on the Classified one makes it look kinda cheap, but it may just be the bright silver paint washing out the detail. I may tone that down a bit with a wash. I really like the front bumper/guard and the rear rack. I'm hoping Gridiron makes a few accessories for the ferret. I'd love to see a better cannon and front gun, as well as a front rack for it. I think I'm a little more excited to pimp it out than I was with the VAMP. Lol! Wishing you a fun and safe trip!
The engine would have looked better it it was like the original, but there’s only so much you can do. Thank you, looking forward to this weekend.

Great review glad you got it in before JoeFest. That figure at first look reminded me of a n Eel might be a good conversion later down the line.
Have 2 on the way . Thanks for the video. If I had to make any changes I would wish for a more aggressive tire, longer main gun like original to protect from muzzle flash and no driver and $40 price so I could get more for dreadnoks. But pretty cool anyway.

The wheels can be removed. (Per D-Amazing.) Just be careful. I had my front wheels on backwards and fixed them. Gently pull straight outward, slowly adding pull pressure with a very slight wiggle until one pops off.
Great review. Getting mine on Friday. Never had the ferret as a kid, so looking forward to it. I do wish they modernized the guns and missiles though.
It would be nice but they know people would cry if they did 😂
Got mine yesterday, it’s cool. I do kinda have a complaint about the Joes, I don’t like the loose secondaries. It’s annoying when gun holster slide to their knees or knife sheaths are swinging behind their ankles. I may be in the minority but that’s my opinion 😅

I wish they would of thrown in a grey Valkyrie helmet , some goggles to go with the ridding helmet and a walkie talkie or some sort of radio (If there scouts they need to be able to communicate back to base camp or terror dromb from there out post) but they look great I got two coming in the mail
wheels will pull off, same as the vamps, With tire and rim, I give em a stable preasure as close to the axel center as possible , and the y poped off just like they went on!
I wish they had went with grey and black to better match the stinger.
Edit: it doesn’t look has bad has I initially thought it would.

Can anyone tell me why hasbro continues to give most of the cobra troop builder figures dual pistols? a pistol and a rifle make way more sense. The cobra valkyrie figures probably have the best loadout of all theclassified troop figures. The only way to make it better would have been to include a heavy weapon with every figure as well like an RPG, sniper rifle, mortar or light machine gun. Then you could really troop build some cool trooper squads in your collection by arming them with various different weapons like a real squad or s platoon.
Great looking vehicle. I love everything about it except, the silly looking double missiles, even though it’s accurate to the original. How is a missile supposed to fire with 2 front ends? I wish they just made it into 2 separate missiles, one front and one rear facing one. I’m still looking forward to getting mine soon. I bought 3 and they shipped yesterday.
Are the tires removable once installed?
I know the reviewer addressed this and said he wasn’t going to try, but has anyone else on this thread tried
I got mine on order. I do wish it has the linkage of the original. I'd have sacrificed the rubber tires for plastic or something for the steering gimmick from the og or just a working winch. really looking forward to the female pilot but again I'm not sure these vehicles need pilots. stuff like this was meant for something for your existing figures to drive imo and I'd rather see lower price points for these minus the figures in most cases. I'd have bought 2 to 4 ferrets if they didn't come with figures and at a lower price point. which I'm probably in the minority on.
I'm on the fence for the cobra stinger too cause with a pilot it's $150 with taxes up here in Canada. that's a little steep for what it is. IMO economy being the way it is I need more bang for my buck. I got 40 cobra figures I could put on it after all. I've already cut a number of classified figures from my budget this year just to get some of the vehicles. something I'd rather have cause having a cabinet full of just figures is getting boring.
heck I painted and decaled a fortnight boat in cobra hydro foil colors just to put some cobra eels and vipers on it attacking some joe's in my display case 😂😂
