    How tall are you? I'm 6'2" and I'm considering this bike but haven't seen it in person yet. I'm absolutely in love with the clx7 and the price seems appropriate for what I consider an entry level bike for me.

    • @859Videos
      @859Videos  Před 2 lety +3

      I'm 6ft even, and I fit like a glove from Glove world on it. It DOES take some time to get used to how it feels on the Sport, it sits about as high as my Duke 390 did. What I've figured out is sit back as far as you can, against the tailbone pad. First few days I had discomfort in my hips (I sound old as shit) & my neck. After riding for a while, my body got used to the riding position.
      I drove the 700 Classic & this Sport, the Classic is much more....adventure bike feel than the Sport.

      @@859Videos thanks for the quick response, I'm thinking of going with the classic because of the higher positioned handle bars, but I have to admit the sport does look mean in a good way.

      @@TheMegamanpr No worries. I strive to respond asap, unlike most YTbers that will never respond.
      I agree, being the only sport in town (only clx at that) It's been mistaken for a ARC bike, & the Ducati Diavel

      @@859Videos I got the classic a few months ago (they were out of sports)and I absolutely love the 700 clx. Was wondering if you knew if it is possible to change the handlebars on the classic to those of the sport - I prefer the more aggressive stance. If you know of any links hit me up - thanks

      @@erik-ku7eo Oddly enough. They are super interchangeable. The 700 CLX USA owners group I run on FB talks about it a LOT. The only thing different is how they mount on the front end & the front Brembo brake reservoir.

      I am hoping to get my hands on as many CF Moto bikes as possible to get the most out the "Experience Together" motto they label on all the bikes.
      Plus I do think CF Moto is about to really upset the balance of how comfortable the brands we've had here have been.

      I hope they figure something out, the only thing I can assume is it helps with cooling. KTM engines run hot, so I can only guess CF Moto left it open to cool it off.
