They are all based on legends from around the world🌎. This story for example is a Maori legend which I grew up with and is taught in primary schools. It's not accurate but still neat.

Maui is a good boy
he loves his mother
he also loves his brothers
he likes to help the people around him
The part I like is the part where Maui and his brother catch the sun and negotiate with the sun so it doesn't set too fast and that's where the residents are happy because they can have dinner at their respective homes

I really like this story because it contains a message so that we don't give up easily and still respect the struggles of our parents
The character that I really like is Moui, even though he was dumped by his parents because he thought he was sick, but he really appreciates and is very helpful to his family, especially his parents are the leaders of the tribe there.
The part that I like is when Moui manages to catch the sun and convince the sun not to go around on its own because human beings need the sun to live
