Great vids, informative. I often tip in or sink the rail badly on my toe side ( left side, im goofy foot) when paddling in for a wave and wind up losing stability and speed due to putting all my weight on that side. Its worse if i try to look behind me on that side, then I really start to roll. I will occasionally paddle front foot right side to avoid tipping in even though its probably not the best or proper technique. Not sure why i have that problem, i try to weight the front foot and maintain even side to side balance but still seem to sink left unless i cheat by digging on the right. Any thoughts?

Could be related to your foot positioning, the closer to the rails you have your feet the more tippy the board will feel. This is counterintuitive to many, the common belief being that the wider your stance the more stable you are, and in SUP it's not the case. A wider stance looses side to side stability because each weight shift is magnified with your feet close to the rails. If you get a video of yourself feel free to send on and we'll take a look. Cheers.
