Fun fact; This is the first ever recording of the song and Aurora went for that version istead of going to the studio and polish it up. She wanted it to sound like this, flaws and all, cos it felt more genuine. Although what she mean by flaws is beyond me, lol.

She talks about how she never thought she'd write a love song... her song compositions usually involve much darker material with a spritely twist. I encourage you to continue exploring the Aurora rabbit hole. There's a lot of material to sink your ears into. Appreciate the fine tuned analysis.

This was released during the norwegian lockdown due to the covid 19, feels like an encourageing track to me. Still feels like it, actually..
This song was a different sound and topic for Aurora. Typically her songs are dark and sad. Try Murder Song at the Nobel Prize. It’s dark and haunting and one of the most emotional performances I’ve even seen and heard.

As other has mentioned, this is the least typical of Aurora songs. How beautiful it is, actually some die hard fans didn't like it because it was 'too soft', and not the Aurora they knew..
Interesting that you mention the production, it is actually 'home made' during the pandemic shutdown. Aurora and her sisters made the outfit from old clothes, took pearls from different jewelery, borrowed a closed theater and it was filmed (and probably edited) by friends.
For dark songs, you absolutely should check out Murder song, live from Nobel Peace Price consert, where she was just 18 or so. So, so emotional song and incredibly good live performance!
AURORA - It happened quiet (live at current)
You like dark music? Well then, look no further. Aurora is pretty dark I tell you, lol. This song is as least typical Aurora as they come. I for one really loved it cos I feel that everything Aurora does has that shine of magic around it. She is an accomplished poet so her lyrics are just wonderful. Unique is a word one can seldom use this days about the music idustry, but this one is the real deal.
Enjoyed your reaction to Aurora! I hope you will do more AURORA reactions! I recommend her 'angry' environmental anthem "The Seed," either from her imaginative music video, or the incredible live performances she has given: HAIK 2019, in a forest; or her recent concert with the Bergen Philharmonic! Also, besides those two concerts, the concert she gave in a cathedral is mesmerizing (Nidarosdomen).
If ever there was music written for holding onto your sweetheart it's this one.
You're the first vocal coach reactor I've heard that really captured her breathy tone (usually not something trained vocalists aim for, as it can be difficult for many to control properly) But your interpretation nailed it perfectly. It tickles your earlobes and tingles your spine as if someone is whispering something very personal behind your ear. Her lyrics are exquisite and very lyrical, but usually quite dark and often disturbing. Especially in her first releases (which were songs she had written at a very young age). These are a rare exception.
Aurora wrote and recorded this song in 2017, but never released it. It was recorded again and released in 2020, but they used her original vocals from the 2017 recording. Writers: Aurora, Magnus Skylstad, Roberts Glen Joseph (Fandom)
I hope you catch the AURORA bug. Her song writing continues to grow in excellence. This sounds like a McCartney composition to me. Please check her out in small venues or live in studio. Her band provides incredible harmonies.

oh darker? there are plenty of dark Aurora songs.. this is actually one of her "softest" songs... try it happened quiet , live at the current, or Murder song, live at nobel peace prize concert. she is so much more amazing live, you see how she becomes the subject matter in each song, like a method actor, becoming and living the emotion of each song
AURORA has a strong set of lungs! Not too many people has her vocal range and control! Perhaps it is because of clean air and good habits!

If you like darker type songs , Aurora is the artist's for you . You just happen to have chosen about the lightest songs Aurora has . I see a lot of great songs of hers in the comments for you to react to . So the only suggestion I'll make is , you should react to Aurora's live videos . Aurora is at her best in live performances and her voice and diction is amazingly clear . Aurora is a very special artist you will soon fall in love with just as the rest of the YT reactor community has .
Hi Mikey! The “luck of the draw”! You picked one of Aurora’s infrequent love songs. She embraces a more darker theme most of the time. Here’s her full concert at Nidarosdomen, a 900+ year old cathedral in Norway. It’s in English but use your captions at the beginning to understand her pre-concert mood. I don't know if you like the kind of music I do......which is everything actually.....but I specialize in METAL and THRASH and DEATH METAL......lol.....But I grew up on Motown.....

I love how you do like a double reaction to this song/video. You listen to it one time with little to no interruptions, then give an instant thought or two, and then watch it a second time and give it a breakdown. I like it!

Not too many singers get a song like this to sing over their whole career. Not a follower of Aurora but it's typical for this era to miss a song like this. This would be song of the year if someone live Dion or Gaga sang it, not because they would do a better job it's that more people would know of it. Botticelli was my favorite Old Master when I was in Art College.

Although this is a lovely song, it is not typical of her. In fact it is probably my least favorite of her songs - not that I think it's bad, I just like her other work much more. Try "Through the Eyes of a Child" (VEVO stripped UK Lift)
This very very untypical song of Aurora. Se is usually in to darker things even though she presents them in beautiful way. She likes to confuse people by mixing darker things with lighter things.
Do Murder song 54321 live at the Nobelpriceconcert. You will not be dissected. Usually Aurora live performances are even greater than the other ones.

Personally this is my least favourite song of hers. To me it's a bit too saccharine sounding. It's also quite an atypical song for Aurora. She tends to sing about darker themes such as: Abusive/Bad relationships and murdering a partner (Churchyard, I went too far, Murder song 1,2,3), breakups (Forgotten love), being an outsider/tolerance ( Queendom), suicide (The river), nature/environmental responsibility ( The seed), et cetera.
