We all to agree this song gives another level of peace of being loved .
They did everything with this video themself (covid lockdown) .... she directed it, shot in local, her friends as dancers... made the headpice from pearls from old outfits (took 3 days).
The sound is the original take from the first time they recorded the song (demo).
She felt it was a "warm" in it she wanted to keep...
The beauty of this video, the perfectly timed lighting, her expressions and movements and voice made me feel so loved and I've never felt like that before from a song! She has an ability to make people feel cared for or feel some type of emotion, it's incredible to me. She has other amazing live songs, Little boy in the grass, mahogany session is amazing, even if you just look into it on your own. Also Dance on the moon exist for love session

Note the lyric "leaning out for love etc." which is a quote from Leonard Cohen's music. He was a major childhood influence on Aurora along with Bob Dylan, she has said. This has a '20s Flapper-era vibe.

It's great that you decided to react more to Aurora. I'm particularly more into her first album because it has more of a dark ambience to it, but all of her songs are awesome. You read her well, she's a very sensible person and every single one of her songs has a deeper meaning. You should react to her live, it's way better than the album versions.
This is just wonderful. She is like Venus coming out of the shell just like a famus Italien painting by Botchelli. I get vibes from 1930-40..This was recorded during the corona pandemi. She used som left over material to the cloding and her friends two of them where the dancers Who came in. Aurora the most beautiful of the northen lights. Thanks for reacting to this sweet artist.

Great reaction! The video was shot during lockdown here in Norway. Hence the lack of audience, but it might have a meaning as well. It's also the reason why the girls joining her on stage are standing so far away from her.

I'm glad you gave Aurora a second chance - she really is quite unique and special - both as an artist and a human being. You seem to be getting a greater appreciation of that as you continue to listen to her work. She really is quite independent and despite her petite stature, she does not let anyone push her around or dictate what she will or won't sing!

In my view it is the most beautiful "break up" song ever written. It appeared earlier this year as a B-side on the vinyl-release of her song "Cure For Me"

She’s far from reserved but she’s fragile yet strong. She’s like a Prince Rupert’s Drop. So unimaginably strong but I know if she was wounded in her heart it would be like how a Prince Rupert’s drop will suddenly shatter into a zillion pieces. I just adore her. Her song writing is unmatched. The lyrics “like white horses on a 🌊” is just one of the most beautiful lyrics I’ve ever heard.

You will love her live performance from Nidarosdomen. Side note - it's a NRK (Norwegian public broadcaster) production, meaning no copyright issues.

@@FrankValchiria Yes, I'm not saying that she is huge here in Brazil, in fact Aurora is still quite unknown worldwide. But among all their fans around the world, Brazilians are the biggest or second-biggest fanbase.
I know her music for quite a while and she always surprises me, she is really quite unique. It becomes obvious why when you discover how she learned to sing and play the piano. In fact, she is self-taught and taught piano herself from five to nine years old replicating songs by Leonard cohen and bob Dylan which is what her parents listened to at the time. And the rest of his history as an artist is also quite interesting. When she was discovered by her first manager, she actually turned down the offer and was persuaded to accept by her mother.

The video was filmed with a low budget during the Corona lockdown, which is why it is an empty theater.
She wrote this song back in 2017-18 but did not feel the time was right, she never did a real love song before. Then during the pandemic she felt it was the right time, and it was a song that her fans needed.

This is one of those songs that I really don't care for. Then you end up listening to her sit at a piano....alone on stage and give a performance that I would gladly dance to at my wedding.
She is great artist and she is unique and authentic (for sure not fake or "made up"). I would recommend Lucky from Nidarosdomen, All Is Soft inside live from KEXP 2018 and Soulless Creatures live from Bergen or official lyric video :).
