She actually posted on her Instagram story why she sounds different in the video, as many people were commenting about it :')) If you've noticed she keeps sniffling, and drinking water. She said that her rhinitis has gotten worse, but told us not to worry as she's healthy right now :'))
She is scheduled to shoot a movie, and until then, she sleeps only two hours a day to provide as much content as possible to her fans. So, she lost a lot of weight and her health was bad too. Nevertheless, she did an incredibly good live performance.

She also says that her recent schedule was as hard as that of her teenage years when she worked the busiest. Because she wanted to shoot a variety of content for her fans ahead of movie filming. As a result, she has lost a lot of her weight and her health has deteriorated. So she said she decided to take care of her life more in the future.

I think that her voice matured more for the past years, and I love it, because when she sings her older songs now, it gets even better.

That tracklist is the title and single of the album she released in her twenties. That's why songs she sang in her teens, such as "Good Day" and "You and I", were excluded. Except for encore songs.

Good Day is not included cause it's before her 20s. She said she didn't include songs like The Red Shoes, Heart, Knees, & many more cause of her rhinitis but she promise to sing those at her concerts

i actually first saw her as actress (her role there was an annoying actress 😂) and when i watched scarlet, i still don't know that she's a singer until there's a scene where she sang happy birthday to the youngest prince (baekhyun) and i was amazed. i was shocked that she was actually a singer but right after that, without 2nd thought i became a fan 😂😂

same!i first saw her on Hotel del Luna and Scarlet Heart and still didn't know she's a singer until I figured that she's the one who sang Give you my Heart (OST of CLOY) which is my favorite.. until I binge watch every IU content in YT and I loved her more and more everyday.. I'm so glad you know the korean language a bit. I feel like IU create magic with her rhythm, words, breath, etc. She doesn't allot a single syllable to single notes. She somehow changes her tones in one syllable, stretches or compacts syllables in different notes. She's just so 'different', but I would think it's difficult to detect and appreciate them if you didn't know the language.
She is much better in her live performances. 🔥🔥🔥 You should try to watch more of it.

Mate, I think you should listen or react to her re-make album. IU has inspired by a lot of OG Korean musicians in 70's to 80's and 90's.
In this clip, 'Meaning of you' and 'Autumn Morning' are those songs that re-make songs from Chang-wan Kim and Hee-Eun Yang.
I believe it's going to be very interesting to you that compared original songs and IU's one.
