Focus Areas:
Coach how to create space in wide areas.
Coach how to exploit space in wide areas.
Coach how develop 1vs1 attacking scenarios wide.
Coaching Points:
When opponents are compact in their defending third use width of the field
Important to change the point of attack
Important when numbers up in the attacking thirds
Overloading the middle and final thirds with wide backs
Emphasize the technique of aerial crosses(driven, bent, on ground). Dribbling at the near post when defender is beat
Try to get the ball wide early.
Quality passing.
Good quality on the cross.
