  • In this video, I'm testing the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 with the Nvidia RTX 4060 TI in different games like Fortnite and Cyberpunk in both 1080p and 1440p gaming. The Ryzen 5 5600 came out in early 2022, it has 6 cores, 12 threads and has a base clock of 3.5GHz and a turbo frequency of 4.4GHz. The R5 5600 has a TDP of 65W and is made with Zen 3 architecture. The Nvidia RTX 4060 TI 8GB came out in the middle of 2023, it has 8GB of GDDR6 memory with a memory speed of 18Gbps and a bandwith of 128 bits. It has 4352 cuda cores with a turbo frequency of 2.58GHz.

    Summary:
As can be seen in the video, the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 can game perfectly fine with the RTX 4060 Ti, but it isn't the best combo as the bottleneck of this combo lays on the CPU as the Ryzen 5 5600 isn't powerfull enough for the RTX 4060 Ti, especially at 1080p and in high CPU intensive games like Rainbow Six Siege, CSGO 2, Fortnite Performance, BeamNG and Cyberpunk, but if you're planning on mostly gaming at 1440p in GPU intensive games, then you can use this combo perfectly fine, so if you already have the Ryzen 5 5600 with another GPU and are considering to upgrade to the RTX 4060 Ti while still having the R5 5600 and are planning to upgrade your CPU later, you can do that.

    Testing method:
Latest and up to date Windows 10 Pro (activated) with only the game running, dedicated game launcher and MSI Afterburner. No settings have been tweaked in Windows, only the bios has been set to the XMP profile to run the ram at its dedicated speed. The gaming footage is then captured using the Elgato HD60X that runs to a laptop, in this case the Dell Vostro 7620.
