  • There's one man who knows production Honda motocross machines like nobody else, and that's former GP rider and AMA pro Mark Eastwood.
As a Honda off-road dealer for decades, he still rides at expert level and helps the UK's main Honda race team with machine set-up. He's ridden the bike a lot, including putting it through its paces on Jake Nicholls' private track, as well as stripping it down to check out every detail. From the suspension and linkage to clutch and motor, there's nothing that has escaped his attention.
MotoHead's Dave Willet caught up with him to talk CRF450s and get the inside on this milestone new machine.

By far the best looking Honda in a decade, thank gawd they got rid of that dual muffler setup, now just fix the 250 and make both 2 strokes and the world would be made great again!
    Good effort Honda finally!

If I had the money would probably go this or the GasGas. Is there less handshake with this bike vs previous generations?

Just get a 2 stroke. Way faster , lighter, and cost less.. Easier to maintain as well.

Way faster? Yeah nah the 450s absolutely blow them out of the water! I own a 450 and a 250 2 stroke. The 2 strokes are way more fun and lighter! Definitely feel fast as hell. But lets be honest they are no match for todays modern 450s even the 500s cant touch the the 450s. Its a fact!

      @@alexandrakingi8502 Way way faster. A 450 2 stroke will crush a 450 4 stroke. No comparison. A 250 2 stroke makes the same hp or more than a 400 4 stroke.

@@grabir01 same hp as a 450 mate your a dreamer! 🤣 The 500cc 2 stroke cant even compete with tje 450 4 stroke. Aint no 250 2 stroke making 60hp boy! You need to stop being in dream land i love the 2 strokes i just recently bought a yz 250 but i aint bias. These guys from motohead will tell you the same thing. Actually look up 450 v. S 500.

@@alexandrakingi8502 Eat them alive. You have no idea what you are talking about. YFZ450R had a peak of 40 horsepower A KTM 250SX 2 Stroke makes 41. Get cracking . Then come back. Thanks

@@alexandrakingi8502 You are being silly. Next time you enter a motocross race in the 250 class, enter your new YZ250 . Let everyone here know how that goes for you.. Thanks
