osu needs a built in miss analyzer sincerely, ss only player but seriously, it's really annoying missing and not knowing why you missed, whether it be a misaim, mistap, etc . i think this is a universally experienced thing, and everyone can benefit from this.
why don't you just play elitebotix duels then? u can do them with people you know too and increase your rating on it personally nothing will make me switch to laser except not having another option anymore, because i'm way too used to regular osu

If it's not official and not easy to use and not easily findable, then people will likely not use it, if people don't use it and it requires multiple people to start, then wait times are long making even less people use it. So I ask you, how many people are going to go into a forum or messaging service like discord to ask some stranger to find out how to use it? I want the FPS comp system, you queue up on the official client, queue pops, press accept, 30s to 1min, and you are now playing the game. Not a third party system that requires using the current multi and invite players and takes 8 minutes to actually play the game. And what happens if your friend hasn't seen elitibtix before? Now you have to invest time to get them familiar with a 3rd party system. And if it requires a download of a 3rd party program, now they got to install that too. Just look at all the hurdles I have to jump through to get someone to use a 3rd party system for competitive play. Make it official, make it streamlined, and people will use it.
In fact, I do not use Lazer right now, because I'm a mutli-only player. If more people played multi on lazer, I would have already made the switch. This is network effect in action already.

osu really needs an sfw mode, especially with the beach art that's on by default. So many maps have lewd and suggestive bgs which are sometimes even completely unrelated. It would be great if there were tags for bgs like "Anime" "Suggestive" "Horror" ect which can then be toggled instead of it being on by default.
well the name of the art contest was named Beach episode (Beach episode is a reference to anime when very often there is episode where fanservice take a big part of it ) and since a big portion of osu user are weebs its no surprise that the only reason we dont have a 100% of suggestive/Lewd BG is thanks to peppy (creator of the game) who picked by himself 8 other BG that wasnt chosen by the community to add to the pool of BG's 8 being 1/3 of the number of BG in the BG's pool.
The multiplayer feature would be a game changer but still it wouldn't work that much because there would be only a few maps that can be playable on a multi because some fun maps have only 1 diff

This might be a stretch but imagine like a battle royale lobby (maybe a certain number of them) each one with similar ranked players, then last player standing wins 1 month of supporter or something idk. Something to spice up the game every week/month (people would definetely play multi for the competitive experience).
For the multis feature, i think it would be much easier to, add a settingto select the min rank and the max rank so people between that ranks can join, that way, multi lobbies could be better balanced, but again, as an option
osu needs proper rate scaler like all the other good rhytm games and not only having the shitty dt&ht or the osulaser one where you need to drag every option with pixel scaling. just 5% up or 5% down on speed of the map and same for CS scaling also like HR does. and fucking have it keep the map ranked so people actually engage with it 5% is enough big that it doesnt take years to go up a single rate while still being enough noticeable difference, and the best part ofc,being able to fucking keybind that like you can do for other mods already. its a joke that we need to wait for mappers to make enough maps that you can do such incremental difficulty scaling possible or you having to manually go trough osutrainer and other hoops instead of just pressing a single button few times like people have done in SM or bms for OVER A DECADE.

Unless some billionaire won't invest money in the game - the development rate won't change. If you want to make things faster - you can make them themselves if you have enough programming skill. This applies to scrubbing and other diffs in multi.
quick note; stable does run better than mcosu on exactly computers that hardly run osu! at 120fps (source: potato gamer) but if ur computer can run both mcosu is probably the superior client everything else sounds solid
It's pretty much impossible to implement unless you sit and classify maps under a skill niche(s) manually, even then there'll be overlaps + star rating doesn't provide an objective measure of difficulty so trying to rate skillset wise mmr with a factor of difficulty is not yet possible to implement either
if you are in the 25k-10k bracket, derankers are a non-issue. BWS is a pretty ok system to stop derankers from farming osu supporters like he said in the video (cant blame him, badges arent attributed to 50k tournaments where he used to play) and most of the great players in 5WC for exemple are not derankers and just great upcoming players. Im pretty sure people who derank would find a way to sandbag their mmr anyway because I doubt they do it to stack osu supporters.

Canada in top 4 had basically no derankers and their best players where all newcomers, the US had some veterans but considering the mental of this team this year and the NA community in general its clearly not a good excuse for not playing tournaments. The reality is that a lot of those players are not derankers purposely playing offline but players who play much better in tournaments then in solo or have unconventional skillsets that arent rewarded by the pp system. BWS is doing its job and derankers are absolutely not a problem in 10k, stop coping and get better at tournaments.
