I pity the people that have never traveled this great country by motorcycle 🏍. I've always thought I was the last of the American cowboys 🤠 crossing this vast country expecting the unexpected. Heat, rain,hail,duststorms and more. "Ain't it great".!!

I look at that scenery on a beautiful curvy road and it makes me sad I’ve lived most my life in the flat state of Illinois. It is motivational for traveling though.
You need to come out this way and enjoy it yourself. It’s quite a ride out here, but well worth it..!

The view on the trip so far have been awesome but being from Sydney it’s especially nice seeing some of the old style parts of Montana.
Looks like you got some great weather for your trip! The views are always amazing going to Sturgis on the route you are taking! Have fun! Oh and you rolled past my old house above Kamiah when you crossed the bridge heading out! It's pronounced the way you said it in the video, Cam ee I ✌

I used to have a heritage just like that same color. And all! Probably the most comfortable bike I've ever owned? But it scraped floorboards just looking at a curve!
I've been away for awhile so haven't been following your channel. I recall when you purchased your Slim and you expressing how happy you were it. I purchased a new 2020 Slim and for the past 3 years, it's been my main driver. I rigged it up with a Mustang single seat, windshield and sissy bar, so it's a great compromise cruiser for around town and long distance bike. Do you still have the Slim? The Road King looks like a great touring bike and the Slim is very versatile
When i was riding that SGS. My helmet was covered in bugs going to Sturgis. I don't know how some do it with no helmet. Ive tried and got unwanted protein. LOL That big windshield is great.

Im enjoying the trip. I like it when you give the town names as you go along. It helps to follow along. Have fun! How many miles on the road king? Is it a 2021? I see it has a hydraulic clutch. I have a 23 Heritage.

I still can't believe you gave up the 2017 STREET GLIDE SPECIAL, with the infotainment system, for a road king, for long rides.
And I couldn't be happier, even all these years later. The simple open feel of the Road King it tops for me, and I gained comfort with the standard (not squatted for looks) suspension. Have never once looked back... 👌

@@TheSmoaksVlogs, Well you know the look factor is more the paint than anything else. I'm talking about the protection in bad weather, as well as having my tones and a larger screen for navigation. Remember all the options you also get in your vehicle system. Gass, food, medical. Did you add a live wire yet?
