It's definitely an extraordinary freight train coverage !! Greetings from India.
Thank you, so happy you enjoyed it. Really appreciate you watching.. greetings from the USA 🇺🇸
Nice catch and use of old rail cars.
Thanks David, I thought that was cool too. Was funny seeing the cow poking his head out.. appreciate you watching
These are the engines Dirk gets, pretty cool. I like that Conrail mural, the boxcars barns were pretty cool too. That thing at the end looked like something equipment rests on when moving down the track, that’s my guess. Have a great Memorial Day weekend
Yeah, this is Dirks train 🤣 I have a playlist of the times I caught it. The line isn't to far from my place, and it literally goes right past Dirks.. that thing at the end us definitely some kind of dolly but definitely wish I knew exactly what it was. Appreciate you watching hope you have a great weekend too, I got to work.
Nice catch 👍
Thanks Dex, and it's a cool spot. Had a walking path by it too, I forgot to show. Appreciate you watching
Excellent my friend ❤👍😎
Thank you Dave, always happy you enjoy the videos, and appreciate you watching, hope you have a good weekend
👍👍
Thank you Tom
I went back and checked your old videos to see if maybe I had missed it, nope. Whitewater Valley Railroad Connersville Indiana. Lots of historical rolling stock and buildings, switches, etc, with open public access to the rail yard and rolling stock. Many steam engines in various condition. They run old diesels to keep ticket prices low. Volunteer historical railroad that would assist you with filming.
Follows the Whitewater Water Valley Canal tow path. There are lots of canal ruins from the early 1800s to WW2. I have a map that shows EVERYTHING from the Wayne county surveyor. If you need a local guide, I'm your guy.
Would make a great video. Lots of possible material depending on how far you want to see.
That sounds awesome, I'll definitely have to look that one up.. thank you for this information.. appreciate it and you watching
Athens USA? Named after Athens in Greece because of Greek immigrants settling there in the past? Some classic SD40 EMD there, I liked that. At 3:46 looks like a set of "Pony Bogies" used to move rolling stock that has severe wheel skids, or maybe it has something to do with trackwork? It's probably Arnold Swatzneggers weight lifting bells..."I'll be back!". Nice artwork on that property too, nice video. 😉
Not sure how the town got its name, but you got me looking up info now, 🤣🤣 the wheel things,, I was thinking definitely something for maintenance but still not sure.. but I like your Arnold analogy, 🤣🤣 really appreciate you watching.. glad you enjoyed it..
good vid on channel thanks lee
Thanks Lee, appreciate you watching
Very cool catches and walk around tour Pappy! That lead truck looked like from maybe a tamper? (Dave).
Thanks Dave, glad you enjoyed it.. that thing is very puzzling, definitely a mow thing but I've not seen anything like it. Appreciate you watching
@@TriGogglin Your very welcome and yes indeed for sure.
Very Cool! How much traffic did you have behind you when you were pacing the locomotive? LOL Thanks for sharing.
Thanks John, 🤣 I had a few angry people back there 🤣 appreciate you watching
Nice place you found there Pappy Whatever that thing is at the end it was recently used by the look of the shine on the wheels. A long time ago I saw a video of a loco being moved after a traction motor ceased, they lifted the front and removed the axle to get it into a yard. I am wondering if it is something like a skate for that. Hope I can find the video.
Thank you, I was wondering if it was like you say a (skate) for maybe that back hoe that was sitting there.. this is a great location. So glad you enjoyed the video always appreciate you watching
@@TriGogglin Well I did find a more recent video but youtube bot did not like my link to it cos I do not see my post now. Have a look for this Cranemasters Traction Motor Cart
@@cedarcam thanks for trying, yeah CZcams don't like links posted in comments, is stupid, you'd think they would love the share, so they get more ad revenue. But nope. Appreciate you
@@TriGogglin It's odd because sometimes I see links in comments, and I agree youtube links would get them more in revenue if they allowed them
