I’ve tried this but when going to post on socials in 16:9 ratio it doesn’t fill the screen top and bottom is a black banner - any ideas how I can make it fit to size after shot in vertical?
Umm wut? This isn't how I do mine at all I just do one simple setting of linear mode from the three settings wide, linear, and the box view. Don't have to turn my gopro at all.

His Settings also dont work on my GoPro 11, but going linear will disagle my superview which is sad :D
Which GoPro do you have? You can film in 8:7 ratio instead if you have GoPro Hero 11
