- What do you do when you realize some C6 ZR-1 colors are rare and there are less than 100 out there? YOU START BUYING! At least that what Chris Wells at DDX Automotive did. It all started with a soft spot for his 1,300hp 2010 ZR1 (currently the standing mile record holder for a blown ZR1) which quickly snowballed into a full-blown collection, and it's still growing! Big thanks to Chris for having us and giving us a full tour of his 6,000sf shop!

Much respect to him for showing the Lincoln love and not just brushing it off for the “better” cars.
I had an '88 LSC (Luxury Sport Coupe, if any care about such things). Chrome headers on your 5.0, maybe some head work? Had like 30 more hp than non-LSC. Looked into putting a belt drive Vortek centrifical on it but the kit was for the 'stangs of the era ☹️. High winds + GIANT orange D.O.T. sign had me wasting the front end and scorin' a wee bit of air. Insurance totalled it; kick myself for not buying it back BUT: flatbed didn't pick it up for almost 3 weeks (ran/drove fine; bent rim, tiny coolant leak) THE BEST/MOST INSANE Automotive stretch of my life...shitties, rockfords, more air, neutral drops, maxed out in rev. to drive, ALL THE FUN!! Had cords showing on the rears w/one being flat when they grabbed it; took the hammering like a champ!!
I think he needs to do a 1k horsepower build one of those. That would be nasty!!! Of course with a 6 speed also!!!

This guy was completely humble and had awesome stories and mental lockdowns of all of his beautiful rides. It’s rare to see someone with a collection and stories behind each one in a personal way! Hats off to this guy and his team awesome collection!!!

Honestly, there are tons of videos of supercar / exotic collections, would love to see more garages like this one, where most of the cars are American machines from past and present :)
or garages that aren't just all super cars and hyper cars

I grabbed a beautiful 10k miles C6 Z06 one year ago and the value of the Z06 is climbing as well. These types of cars are a dying breed
I say this all the time. I watched a CLEAN one-owner 2013 (last year), c6 zr1 w/ 13k miles sell for 63k at the beginning of the pandemic. That same car has nearly doubled in value.... I wish I pulled the trigger

Man, all those rides are straight heat, but that Typhoon…..that’s a special place for me. I miss seeing power purpose built cars that were that small due to not having all the safety features.
Foe me this is the best non-racing video you've ever done! This is what I would dream about for a shop and the cars in it.
My dad had a 93 gmc typhoon back in the day, he bought it new & had it from 93-00. Only had 40k miles on it, it was white with gray on the lower. That thing was beast back in the day. I miss those days.

Definitely a fan of the garage/collection tours! I'm partial to the NRB ZR1, had a C7 Z06 in NRB, got compliments on the unique color all the time. Some angles and in low light it looks black, in the sun it's an amazing metallic blue.
I would love to have a GNX, Typhoon and Syclone. I can remember going to the race track, when I was a kid, with my dad. There would be these guys that would drive to the track and would beat some trailer queens. On the street, they would embarrass some race cars.

I'm a big fan of the ZR1 and I would love to see that collection in person, I recently started following his channel and I'm in love.
Doesn't matter if a car collection makes no sense to most people what's important is that it makes sense to the person collecting them. Seeing this guy take you on a tour , sharing connected memories to cars, hearing the passion in his voice makes this a really enjoyable video.
Plus one vote for more car collection videos.

What a fantastic collection. Foxes, SyTy, C4 and C6 ZR1s, a Mystic Cobra... not to mention somr awesome systems and into crypto. My kinda guy! Much respect, from Europe! Didn't know Kyle was a car audio guy either, I like this channel even more now.

im in love with that hot rod lincoln. i grew up with my mom's '86 light blue met. thunderbird turbo coupe. those seats, svo turbo 4, the 10 holes with vr50 gatorbacks than her '89 supercoupe blwn 6 but i loved the lsc. i got blown mustangs when i got older but that lincoln is one of the main reasons i love that era of ford so much. ive seen every video on this collection. this gentleman has top notch taste and skills. absolutely a dream collection.

I had a 1990 mark VII LSC. What a fantastic car that was. Super quiet, comfortable, and really well made. Great interstate cruiser, just loved doing miles in it.
They live under the radar. They made 190,000 Mark VIIs IIRC but they still are under the radar to this day.
Excellent collection - came for the Mark VII in the thumbnail, loved seeing the final apex of the Fox Body and the Typhoon in the back.

Dope garage, the owner seemed chill. The lincoln was my favorite surprisingly, then the carisle zr1, super nice. Hopefully I can get both one day.

Mark VII is my favorite. The Lincoln has been the first car I had on the road, and currently driving one now.
My favorite was the 2010 ZR1. 2nd was the Merci!! Love these kind of videos and hope you do more like it!!

Ok, I get the thumpers. I am older, and took 2nd place, 1998 F150 in a Kicker competition with a 1000 watt system. However, the biggest compliment I ever received was from a kid who rolled up thumping in a GT drop top. I reached down, flipped the twin 500 Kenwoods on, and blew his mind. The kid looked at me, motioned for me to roll the windows down, and said "God&^%mm sir, what the hell you have in that?" I will never forget that.
atomic orange zr1 or that 1 of 11 color zr1 has to be my favorite, that gated murci brings back alot of nfs memories though damn. hes really got a good sense of taste

Easy. Inheritance, stock market long term gains , open a business scale , get a high paying skillset and flip that money into assets, keep the concept simple, mirror his and others moves and you can too

@@ryen49 as he said it really isnt hard. Just dump cash into assets and it will accumulate fast if done properly, long term gains, use credit to your advantage but be smart about it
Respect to the "missing car"....91 cyclone. Typhoon and cyclone are among my dream cars. 80s/90s cars are my favorite. I have one of the dream cars on my list, many more to go. I envy this guy...crypto mining is very profitable if you know what you are doing. The electric bill at that place has to be sky high.

I have a buddy who has owned Ferrari’s , a GT3 RS Porsche and now a 2006 Ford GT but I still liked his all black C6 ZR-1 the best. It perfectly combined the best aspects of a muscle car (sound and V8 torque) with the looks, handling and braking of a super car.

He probably has a harness in it and the stock seatbelt is probably in the garbage.
When I published the video I didn't even see it on the dash, but yes, as another commenter noted I had a 5-point buckle setup on.
Carlisle Blue ZR1 #3 resides with me in Dothan, AL. It has a Stage 3 Lingenfelter upgrade. Nice to see one of the others. Beautiful collection!!

I don’t hate that Mark VII LSC. My parents had one when I was probably 12/13. I remember driving it and thinking it was sort of fast and pretty cool. Sometimes it’s just what you grew up with thats cool. I’ve always loved the og zr1, Fox bodies, iroc camaros, etc. Have a gen 1 Ford lightning now to feed my 80’s/ 90’s craving.

You should get in contact with Jesus Fajardo in Houston TX he works closely with midnight performance, the 10r80 mustang record holders and get with some of his builds. He has multiple 1500 hp plus cars a long with big trucks, campers, exotics. Quite a unique collection.

Definitely the Typhoon. My cousin owns a Typhoon and a Cyclone. I've driven both and they are a blast with the right tires on them.

I LOVE the c4 ZR1. I have a cammed 91 c4 and i’ve always wished it had just a smidge more power with higher revving characteristics, and a ZR1 is exactly that
