  • This video demonstrates the Basic Demonstration of the Da Vinci Robot - How Surgical Robot Works? Compared to traditional techniques of open surgery and laparoscopic surgery, the very small incisions created by robotic surgery drastically reduce patients' time in the hospital and their risk of infections. The use of high-definition 3D cameras allows surgeons to close-up views of areas they aren't able to see during open surgery. Fully articulating robotic arms mimic the movement of hands, allowing surgeons to have greater dexterity and control than is possible with conventional laparoscopic instruments.

Thank you Professor for your valuable response i have downloaded all your lectures about Da Vinci Robot basically there is a great difference in manipulation between Xi Si and the recent Single port multijoined endowrist instrumentation especially when we do Docking and port site access optic primary port and secondary third ...etc operating port is there a website link or references which we can refer in order to obtain more information you have explained in your valuable lectures the basics of robotic surgery but i think there are more details especially regarding important warnings and safety use of telesurgery it is the same as a classic laparoscopy or recent flex Dex devices of Olympus briefly more details means more precaution and less risk of complication when using these High Definition devices thank you our mentor for your respectable video surgeries and lectures we are always your students Dr. Chabane Zoheir
