Hi there, Good stuff i must say. I’m looking to upgrade to HK system and i already bought the complete parts: Amplifier, speakers, tweeters. My car is a 2017 M240i coupe xDrive (F22) and have HIFI sound system. Question is: will the amplifier work without coding and the tweeters fit inside central dash and rear window dash panel without any modifications? I’ll appreciate your input even though I know your car is not identical to mine. You should know that my car is a Canadian bought vehicle. Thank you and keep doing these videos if possible please.

Got a f10 no sound coming from right side its a harmon kardon. Dealer bought car from saying nothing wrong but clearly its the amp fault. Where best place to get the amps from?
You can only change the music thats playing via Bluetooth on the steering wheel only if you have harmon kardon, and if you have the standard speakers itll say "Not possible" on the cluster. When doing this upgrade, does it allow you to change the song playing via the steering?

Hello, could you tell me what a solid yellow and red led inside the top hifi amplifier indicates? I can't find any information on both lights staying solid. I just replaced one in a car I bought due to it being fried. Replaced with a identical one from a donor vehicle

Do you have any idea if you install a HIFI from X1 2012 to 328i 2012, will it work without programming or coding? I know these are all analog so it should not need anything.
Hey so I got it all HIFi model amps work for the different model car. It probably helps to have one from a similar year, but amps are interchangeable among all models that use them. And they are not programable period. I used an amp from an X1 on a 328i both from 2012. So much for buying the numbers on the amp, that is false.

Was never available on F20 and doesn’t have the wiring for it. Only wiring for Harmon Kardon I did try and install it but wasn’t possible that’s only possible on F30 because of the speakers for in the doors which F20 doesn’t have.
On most of these videos you dont actually mention where parts are on the car theres just 1 camera angle that doesnt show the actual location might be worth confirming the location of things with a bit more detail on future videos, sounds dumb but i guarantee some people are questioning where certain things are
If you were the sort of person considering retrofitting Harmon kardon on to your car do you not think you’d be the sort of person that could work out the location of the speaker he is replacing based off the camera angle? 🤷♂️

NO its really not it will give terrible sound and you won't get the full benefit of the full sound without the amp

If you cut a hole doesn’t that mean you gotta wire up those two 2-pin connectors that connects to both tweeter and speakers?
