Two years of Acro flying | FPV

- Two years ago i started flying acro in this very garden. Boy o boy have we come a long way since then. Today also marks the first warm day of the year. Soming that realy makes me happy and wanna go fly more.
I've switched firmwares on the KISS fc. It's now running the latest BF and it makes a huge difference! Power delivery is now constant and the motors are reaching much higher RPM. All-in-all it's good news and i'm super excited for this summer!

That’s a shame because you’re so good! Iv never even flown an fpv quad. Just ordered all the gear last week. I will put some serious hours on the sim then do it for real 😳 can’t wait to learn 👍🏼

youre pretty slick on the sticks mate....im just getting into the hobby. flying a blade inductrix fpv. just upgraded to a carbon frame, 8.5 x 20 motors, and bigger props. much better performance than the stock setup. learning to fly in acro. once i master this setup, its on to a brushless mini like a Blade Torrent 110. Crawling before i walk...walking before i run. ill get there

Vergeleken met de DOM HDV2 is het aanzienlijk beter. Mij valt het persoonlijk niet op.

Wow,i need to practice harder and harder,i would like to be strong as you someday,really !I have just tuned my quad to make my first looping and barrel few days ago in acro mod,but i need to adust my setings again and continue to pratcice,How do you do to don't be stun when you pilot as crazy as here?
Just practise, and you'll get used to it.
There will be a time when you reach the point where flying starts being automated:
Want to shoot that gab? You just do it, without thinking about it. Your thumbs move automatically where you want to go.
And that's really when the world of freestyle opens up for you. Just practice enough and you'll get there pretty soon.
Also, getting a simulator can really help you understand how the quad behaves in a lot of different manoeuvres, and it can help you save some money on parts along the way ; ) Has really helped me try out some of the tricks first, and understand how much height you gain or lose during the tricks, then you start doing them in real life and as soon as you're able to mindlessly nail the tricks you can start doing them around trees and through gaps etc.
Too bad sims weren't around when I started. Cost me a lot of props and motors.
Practicing in a sims definitely helps you get a feel for handling and finding the right rates, but it's still a whole different ballgame when it comes to RL. Sims these days are still much too floaty and don't simulate propwash.
Yess, sims are awesome. When I started flying the first FPV sim just got introduced, FPV Freerider. Its not that realistic, but realistic enough to learn the basics of flying.
Now there are a wide variety of them, and the free ones are not too shabby either. Only thing you'll need is a Tx you can plug into your pc.
Which TX do you suggest to plug to a PC?I have my TH9X FLsky,got some connector on banggood to plug it but all functions don't work,for exemple i don't have Yaw...
