After the aquarium was closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the animals have been exploring the building.
And Wellington’s adventures, along with some of his friends, have become a viral hit.
Just smile and wave boys, smile and wave...

Ahhhh 😸😸😸I know
U took that phrase on madagascar bruh
Beluga:" yoooo a Fish that can walk"
Penguin:" sup fam"
Why that's silly. Penguins aren't hip to today's fresh street lingo. They wouldn't say, 'sup,' nor would they say, 'fam.' They're probably about 70 years behind us and converse in 1950s style English, for example, "Well how are you today, fine sir? Lovely weather we're having." etc., etc. Don't you think so?
@@uncletony6210 eh dont know if you're being sarcastic or Not
@@nothinnmuch3394 just havin' fun, bruh.
@@uncletony6210 aight fam
@@nothinnmuch3394 Have a lovely day, sir.
I just want to squeeze the beluga they're so adorable.
I know right! Especially their head, it jiggles whenever beluga moves their head. So cuteee.
one of the cutest: _"what the heck are you/that?!"_ moments ... adorable
I love both these animals.
Beluga whales look like giant smiling living marshmellows. And rockhopper penguins have the cutest eyebrows, and the wobbly way they walk with their wings stretched out is adorable.
Belugas are Stay Puft marshmallow whales. Just put a little sailor’s hat on top and you can play _Ghostbusters._
They are so cute walking sheepshily around like shy little children
Look forward to more Wellington and his friends. With all of the darkness going on right night, they bring happiness and joy to many and it is fun watching their curiosity as they investigate their surroundings.
I reside in an assisted living living facility we have been under quarantine for several weeks now we can only leave our rooms to check our mail and we can no longer have visitors...so this literally makes my day it’s just amazing thank you
Brilliant! Hoping a lot of zoos and aquariums do this sort of thing!
personally I would be happier if they put the whales back in the ocean
@@TheComputec Animals and fish raised in captivity, or who've been injured and can't be released, would mostly die if put back in the ocean or the wild. What I like about, as an example, the Wildlife Conservation Society and many other groups is that they breed and raise many animals to go back to their original habitat, and use the animals that they have to hold on to for teaching the public. But we both know that some zoos, etc. are mainly for profit.
@@rontroy3843 I don't have any problem with good zoos that have decent habitats as they provide an opportunity for people to see creatures they will/may never see in their lifetime... They also serve as a training centre for veterinary trainees in rare breeds and of course the breeding programs for endangered or threatened species
Just always had a problem with the more sentient creatures. never want to see a whale or a dolphin in a zoo or aquarium. It is a fate worse than death for creatures that would normally range over thousands of miles and experience water temperature and current differences in each zone and have the chance to swim to fantastic depths... just very sad that we choose to imprison these incredibly intelligent and highly social animals
@@TheComputec SOME of these places only take in dolphins, etc. that have been injured or orphaned and would not make it on their own, and they try to provide them enriched lives even while we learn from them, and while they try to teach the public why it's so important that we keep these species alive.
@JS 09 Nice to hear that.
1:05 it somehow looks eerily funny that Wellington looks at the Beluga information poster and then back at them as if he’s ACTUALLY reading it 😯
It's so cute! They're best friends now!
Wellington's just like "hey dude check out this weird fish". And the beluga whale just like "is that a weird seal?"
“And that my son began the great penguin uprising of 2020, why we now live in zoos. And l for one welcome our penguin overlords.”
More Wellington please. We need cheering up.
"Ok, just go break the glass! Or jump out or something.."
"I CAN'T, I CAN'T DO IT!!!"
*"DON'T BAIL ON ME BAILEY."*
I love how the belugas have :3 face and the penguins are so curious looking as they walk
I found this video on 2/26/2022. Thanks for making me smile in the face of so much going on in the world. You are *greatly* appreciated. 😌👍🏆❤️🐳🐧
Been to this aquarium twice. It is awesome. The Natural History Museum and the planetarium are in the same complex next to Lake Michigan on the Chicago water front.
This remind me of FInding Dory.. who knows if they're all communicating and plan their escape~ XD
trouble times for human humankind. u do a great job to bring a smile to people. thx from germany
The penguin and the beluga whale staring at eachother have the same energy as that line from Subnautica: "Be careful what lifeforms you bring onboard, as they may also be studying you."
I'm definitely in love with Wellington!!!!🙏💙🤗😍🥰😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
He's a Nice little guy! I Would love to pet a penguin, lol.
The sound of his little feet ♥️😭
Once I saw two pelicans walking along each other, next to a mother with a child, in a indoor fishing market in Antofagasta, northern Chile👀👀👀🤣🤣 I was amazed. Amazed. I reeeeally should have taken a picture of them.
“Yoooo Wellington.....what you doing out here?”
This is the cutest thing I've ever seen
Could you imagine building a heavy duty cage on wheels like a cage within a cage for a gorilla to push him around to see things🤣
There’s absolutely no doubt when they’re face to face they are reasoning and wondering, using their beautiful big (or little) brains, no matter what some people might like to say 🐧❤️🐳
Bravo, Thank you for creating this delightful video. Too cute for words.
Well done, this has cheered me up no end... Beautiful,
hopefully we are booked to come to Chicago in November virus permitting, will definitely pay a visit if we get there all the best from nottingham England 🏴 🇬🇧 ❤️
So cute
The animal world is beyond magical
even better if we let them live where they come from
I Love this 🥰Thankyou , such a great idea & opportunity to , smile & breathe ❣️
So much cuteness, bird meets beluga.❤️🤗
Beluga" "hay you the one in the tuxedo how da fk did u get out?"
they made me happy right now
i was only watching this because it is part of my school work but OMG THAT WAS SO CUTE
It is Beautiful to se 😊😊😍😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
Those penguins😇😻 so cute
Just absolutely _ADORABLE!_ Hahaha! 😻😸👍💞
Ojalá en el resto de Latinoamérica cuidaran así de bien a los animales. Ahí es cuando ves que SIEMPRE se debe tener un plan de contingencia en especial cuando se manejan las vidas de otras especies.
This is so cool 😍
me and the bois when we get lost at an aquarium
so cute!❤️❤️❤️
What a life, Aloha from Honolulu Hawaii
Cutest thing ever!
So sweet! ❤️👍🏻😁🎉
This is so cute.
So cute!
thank you so much!
cute
I can hardly wait to visit this zoo, hopefully this summer!
Beluga: what *are* you?
More Penguin adventures please.
this is so cute
Beluga: "Life in a bowl has taken my soul, My family before I don't know anymore, My heart keeps a persistent burning, Don't you know for the ocean I'm yearning, After the show you go home for the day, After the show in this hell I must stay, Life in a bowl has taken my soul."
Penguin: "Word, bruh."
@@HuntyBooBoo and you just made mine.
this made me want to play zoo tycoon 2 again :D
Amazing
This, helps me to center.
Meeting on a quarantine time !.
I wonder if they'll still let him explore even after this is all over
And what pray tell happens to Wellington AFTER the pandemic? Back to his enclosure for the rest of his life? This is sad. These animals need to be free and live in their normal habitats. We think we have it bad. Imagine if the pandemic never ended and we were confined to our apartments and curious on lookers could see in any time they wanted? Or when the "zoo" is open?
Penguins of madagascar: a trip to America
It seems like a perfect solution. The penguins are used to being put on show and receiving attention. The bigger sea life like those whales are used to seeing people looking inside their aquarium, so they both get a little interaction.
😍
North Meets South LOL!
"Free us!" the other animals yell through the glass.
REALLY ! Is this where we are in life. 2020. Pandemic. Animals in captivity meeting the neighbours.
Huh? There have been lots of pandemics. We have been putting animals on display since the 1700s. Get some historical perspective.
I miss Chicago and going to all fun places to see . In Florida it's not fun anymore it's just boring
in quarantine, you guys feel how the animals feel in the zoo now, right?
I went there before :D
Be safe
When penguins rule...
People say Animals are dum
Would be cool to stay the night at a aquarium and watch the fish swim by all night.
Freedom for all the animals.
They will die.
Wwooww
I feel they will make movie like that true story
Madagascar penguins
fantastyczne, potwierdza dalej, jakie uczucia mają zwierzęta
Aww, looks like he'd like to jump in water with the whales!
Улыбаемся и машем
Is no one gonna ask how they got out of the cage?

1:22 Hello Everyone This is YOUR Daily Dose of Internet
😘
Just some tourists bro
The video views exploded but where is it
my friend ate dip n dots at the bench near the bench at 1:48
It isn’t cute. They were trying to scope the place to break out haha
(It’s very cute I’m kidding lol)
How do you know if a aquarium is maltreating the animals?
When you see penguin McNuggets and Beluga sushi on their cafeteria menu.
@@frankkolton1780 wow that was very smart here's your cookie
This video needs Batman to jump in at some point.
kowalski, analysis
theres a huge white thing staring at us.
The whale EAT penguins!
Who’s here from tiktok??
I’d be interested to see them having a swim together 😊
There's no way that beluga wouldn't eat that penguin
They eat fish. they would never encounter a penguin like that in the wild
Free the poor whales
Whine all you want, peta, but they cant. They'd die in a week out there, plus they were born there
@@courtneyjackson3612 how do you know they'd "die in a week"? Also, what was your point in saying, "plus they were born there"? Does that make captivity okay in your eyes?
Courtney Aniston idk their brains are bigger than humans if they get hungry I’m sure they’ll figure out how to catch a fish
Courtney Aniston i mean. If they are born in captivity, they will probably die in the wild. But it’s still cruel to keep belugas, killer whales, dolphins etc in captivity. The pool is so small compared to the ocean. These pools are just so small and these creatures usually swim for miles
@@instantnoodles4691 you wouldn't just throw them into the ocean and say, 'see ya'.' you'd integrate them by holding them in an enclosed area in the ocean for a period of weeks and showing them how to find their own food.
Male pattern baldness is depressing
Animal should be free ..still funny
Don't be freeo it get killed by great white and orca. Orca always kill seal and great white kill fish
We aren't free....
Yeah, this is cute, but my joy is countebalanced by my sadness at seeing the beluga whales in that tank. I don't care how big it is it is a cruel thing to keep such creatures in captivity. In the wild they will migrate massive distances from cold water oceans right up to warmer waters in estuaries and rivers and can dive to a depth of 700M. they are currently not an endangered species at all so just let them go back in their habitat
All the animals should be free, this is not conservation.
They would die.
