Exploring the Remote and Rugged Old Dale area Outside Joshua Tree NP Including Brooklyn Mine

We explored the breathtaking views of the Old Dale area outside Joshua Tree NP in our Rubicon. The unmaintained roads were rough and rocky and we were careful because we were on our own. The highlight of this adventure are the mining remnants and briefly exploring the long abandoned Brooklyn Mine. The steep climbs and descents on shelf roads were challenging and fun.
