As much as this song reminds me of my struggles, it so encapsulates the mentality of one of my metahuman characters. She has a power so destructive to herself and others, it's caused her isolation and has literally cost her, her heart (she's got an artificial filter in lieu of a beating piece of flesh now; science fiction is fun). She's severely depressed, waiting for the day she can finally leave this bubble of torment.
