After seeing this vid, think I am definitely going to have to go w carbon fiber caps 😎 along with some carbon fiber vents to match. Yeah dude, it is an issue, just not as big as everyone makes it out to be. I daily my car with occasional spirited driving and it’s held up perfectly fine. Sitting at almost 9000 miles now .been ai little over 9 months with the car. No regrets!
Love those mud guards. The rears kind of look like the brz body kit they offer. I don’t like the rally style Subaru mud guards on this car. I’m sure it will protect your paint from all the debris. Looks great!
In BRZ/GR86 vids I've seen that originate from Japan, they all seem to have window rain guards. Guess it's either standard or a dealership option there. Those mirror caps real pop. The mud guards seriously look great. When I would hear mud flaps, I was picturing those flat kind like on an 18 wheeler!

I got the Toyota mud “flaps” over the Subaru ones because the BRZ does have those huge flappy ones. I much prefer the GR/TRD style 👌🏻
No problem at all homie! I got the mud guards off eBay, and the rain guards off ftspeed. Try to get them off import image racing website tho 🤙🏻 they got the best prices and shipping hands down.
I'm waiting for my Sapphire Blue to arrive in September but the white with the side stickers looks really clean. Didn't get that option with mine since it didn't look like it would show much with the blue background color. Nice car!

whats up bro! I got the OEM ducktail from importimageracing! at the time their Noble brand tails weren't available. but if i could go back and order one of theirs i would. its like $100 cheaper and its paint matched! definitely check those out.
Who knows man! A lot of people are thinking recall, some are saying the 5 panel intake tube will not get clogged as long as you do maintenance on time. Some are saying the issue is only on certain manufacture dates. My build date was 03/22 and I’ve seen most people have issues with /21 build dates. I’ve also seen some Toyotas with 5/22 build date getting some residue on their dipsticks. Me personally I’m just going to ask my dealer to inspect the oil pan when I do my first oil change 👌🏻
My GR was build in 06/22 and it has a tiny amount of RTV residue on the dip stick. Most people on a subreddit say that Toyota stated they will honor the warranty.
@@wholesomedeus1655 yes now that the issue has way more attention looks like dealers are being more open to work on the cars. Honestly I think we will be fine. I’m driving the hell out of the car. Still have a whileeee left to pay off haha so I’m stuck with it now!!

Mudguards and Window add-on are ugly are a hard no! Look cheap as hell. Those belong on a Civic or Corolla. Take those off immediately. Other stuff looks great.

Both are OEM TRD products. Definitely not cheap lol. In fact, only the mudguards are offered in the USA. Rain gaurds come straight from Japan 🇯🇵
