That void can only be filled by God, but come to think of it. Who are we to get mad to the One who created us? Shouldn't we become more thankful because He's giving us more time to realize many things while we have time to do so? It says in the Bible that "His thoughts are higher that our thoughts", meaning that His plan is unfathomable. We are limited but, He is limitless. It is not wrong to ask but, it is wrong when we are jumping into conclusion when our mind is clouded. Well Jesus once said to his disciple "Truly I say to you that some of you here today will never experience death and will live to witness the coming of the kingdom of God. I'm assuming that when he said the kingdom of God meant that of his return. Well sadly all of the disciple died 2000 years ago waiting for Jesus return and never gotten that reward for the suffering they endured on spreading the word of God. I'm sure you sometimes helped others on time of there needs and so do I but I think the difference between you and me is that your doing it because you are seeking that ultimate reward of heaven. I do it without seeking any return or any of that what they call quid pro quo because when you help someone, the smile and appreciation you see in their faces is to me is far more better felling than your heaven.
