I agree! I enjoy and watch these videos to learn more about various art & mediums, so I love to see the failures / what doesn’t work. I learn what to do and not to do for when I go to try something myself and use their experience to try myself.
As a Scottish native, it's nice to see someone appreciate our beautiful scenery ❤

I know! I felt sooooooooooo bad for him! 😢 I wish there was a way we could make it illegal for others to be in public areas when it makes others uncomfortable. Maybe then I could finally leave my house - I've been too afraid to go outside for 7 months.

English is obviously a second language...what are you trying to say in the first sentence? Just type in your language, we can use the translation feature.
That just sounds so mean to say to someone. even if English is there second language commenting to them and saying it didn't make any sense is wrong that could make them feel bad there trying.
@@CarzyGrace37 obviously they took the criticism better then you and edited their comment to actually make sense, you must have lived in a bubble your whole life and told it was ok when something bad happened when In reality it wasn't. By not telling them it would help mold them into a soft insecure little pamper me person like you, little soft Sally. Maybe it's easier for me to understand because I'm not a native English speaker either so I have a more lateral way of thinking about language, but for real, it's really not that hard. love how you show all the negatives of doing it which no-one really talks about. This enables us noobies have an advantage cuz now we know how to approach this and what to avoid. You really are awesome Jazza

Never realised the country I grew up in and live in would be the perfect place for this!! I suppose it makes sense considering we almost always have clouds!- the hills featured in the paintings you made were absolutely stunning (along with the rest of it!!) and defo captured their essence with ease!!
I think his wife wanted to go to Scotland, and he made it a video so that it counts as a business expense.. I wouldn't read too much into why he chose Scotland 😂
Honestly, I wasn't a massive fan of your previous attempt and the first couple attempts in this video, but that just humanizes you. Thanks for sharing that and also telling about the awkwardness (very relatable) with the crowd. Love seeing you learn, even if it doesn't end in a masterpiece. Of course, this DID end in a masterpiece! You're an inspiration on so many levels.

What I like best about Jazza was that he was able to explain the struggles behind these art challenges that appeared so easy and perfect when presented on TikTok.
I'd love to see you try a large canvas, further away from the camera, using perhaps a phone or something as a monitor so you can see the effect, then you can DETAIL IT UP! 😅

@@celticperspective5183 I know they're brothers. I actually got to this channel thanks to one of Shad's video about 3D printed swords, if I remember correctly, as well as the one where Shad tries to teach his brother swordfighting.

I live about 5 min from urquart castle so lovely to watch you paint something so familiar & well loved xx
Some tips i will suggest for the next attempts are making sure you paint everything with sharp edges only without blending and painting things that are closer way more detailed that everything else, that really sales it. Other than that, this one's look really good! good job

I feel like using acrylics, and making sure the aim is a little lower with no sky in the painting would make the illusion easier, especially trying to paint the whole thing and then add on, because oils just smudge.

I'm so so so glad you chose Urquhart Castle to paint at. It's my favourite spot in our not so sunny Scotland. And where you chose to paint is an exact spot I stood for like 10 mins just staring over the lovely loch. So glad you appreciated it! 😁👍

I really liked watching that. You did a great job. Now I want to try it.
I was at Loch Ness last year and only saw this castle from the water as we were on a boat tour of the lake, but I felt so accomplished when I instantly recognised the blurred castle at the beginning of the video
