No, I’ll see you in hell!
Awesome artwork Jazza!!! 🎉 You deserve a break after so much work ❤
I love this kind of perspective work... always impresses the hell out of me.
How we suggest a sponsor to you?
Blizzard is hell itself
I really hope this isn't the video you mentioned on your last video that the sponsor didn't like, because this is absolutely mind blowing
i hope not! i cant even imagine them not liking it, this is incredible
edit: i checked that video and he mentioned this as a separate piece from the dropped sponsorship. i may not love blizzard for every decision they make but at least they know good art when they see it
Same thing I thought, came to the comments to ask about it LOL
it's not, that video will never see the light of day unfortunately. this one also did not cost what he said the other one cost to make... we all know it was amazing tho
nah, he said he spent 5 figures on that sponsored video. This video probably cost at most a few hundred for the boards and chalk. Maybe a couple thousand if you include time.
@@paullmight42 That makes sense
Pro tip from a former manual laborer: When you're down on your knees like that, dont put your hand flat to brace yourself especially when you're leaning on it, that posture puts all of the pressure and weight on your wrist itself, INSTEAD make a fist and brace yourself with the top of your knuckles like youve punched the ground and are trying to push it away, this pose will use your forearm or entire arm as the brace where that kind of support isnt going to do nearly the same damage over time!
I hope this saves someone's wrists!
Or you can prop the heel of your palm up with a towel under it so that it’s elevated and less press to the join
Awesome tip! I'll be using it when I'm gardening 😅
Thanks
This is almost, but not quite, knuckle walking, like chimps and gorillas do! Makes sense that it'd be easier on our joints
Push up bars also help.
I love how everyone walked onto the steps but the moment they saw the framing they started losing balance. It just goes to show how cool optical illussions are in that they can literally effect your balance when standing flat on the ground. Your artistic skill is amazing and it's really inspiring that you're willing to just try new mediums
Your brain uses shading and perspective queues to understand depth. That's why it's very easy to fool the brain with these kind of illusions. Where the dizziness comes from is your inner ear canals do not tilt the fluid in them like your brain would expect from angling downward going down a staircase. So your eyes are telling your brain there's a descent in front of you but the fluid in your ear canals is saying it's flat level ground, leading to the disorientation.
@@pacmonster066 Cool! Thanks for sharing that!
I didn’t mind Jazza explaining how much pain he went through doing this because it shows how hard work this is. Makes you appreciate not only the incredible talent of the artists who create these paintings but also the incredibley hard work that goes into it
And I appreciate the street artists that do this! So awesome!
I think it's really valuable that you talked about the pain from the process. So many hand crafts and arts do have a physical impact on the body, and it's important to learn how to work in smart ways so we can keep making the things we love!
I love this channel. It’s really just the “let’s try every art form that exists” channel and you get stuff like THIS! Wow
I think metuoning the pain throughout working on the project really conveys how difficult pieces like this really are. So I don't mind it. Great job!
Now that I think about it, 3D pavement illusions are another great artistic thing I have not seen Jazza try before. What a perfect opportunity! And the result is fantastic!
My mind is absolutely blown. You are a true artist of so many mediums and I love seeing the joy and happiness even though you may be in pain that you have when you're doing art. You are a true inspiration. I love watching your videos. Never change jazza
I like to refer to the term as "the Ultimate Artist".
I appreciate that you talk about the pain. Its real. There are a lot of people, artists and not, that struggle through pain for their passion. Its not always easy.
Everyone's reactions were so much fun. It's a mind-bending marvel. When you're ready to handle the pain again, please do another!
Us: uses chalk to draw our initials and rainbows on the drive in summer with friends
Jazza: uses chalk to make an epic descent into hell piece in his backroom
Never thought I would see Jazza being sponsored by Blizzard to promote Diablo 4
oh thank god, finally a top comment from someone who isn't a comment-ripping bot
Yeah, atm everyone and their dog is getting sponsored by Diablo IV/Blizzard. Quite genius actually to pay big and medium creators on CZcams to promote your game. It's way cheaper and way more effective than traditional media campaigns.
@@TRPLD even Hotones is sponsered by diablo 4 xD a show about hot wings and questions xD
With all of the promotions going on of this game. What if it sucked? Really, what if the game is really bad? Some, if not all, of the sponsored creators have put their reputations on the line for a few bucks.
So random I saw you comment on a random Konfusion video yesterday and now here, small world :)
It's absolutely mind blowing how good he is, he's never done this kind of thing before and he knocks it out of the park!! Also, major props to the whole team, especially the camera men and the editors, I know how hard it is to do that stuff, so well done!!
You did such an amazing job with this…just need to seal it to the floor!
Hope you enjoy the game as much as I have been!
And nail the camera in place too
Love that you talked about the pain, because it’s the reality of doing work like this, and it shouldn’t be silenced.
Amazing result (it even looked slanted when viewing it from a different perspective than the intended one, so you’ve done a great job!), and it was really cool to watch everyone’s reactions! 🙌
I’ve been a fan of the channel for so many years now and it literally never gets old for me
Always inspires creativity and art which I find myself falling away from sometimes in my own life
You never fail to come out with new and even crazier ideas each time lol
❤❤❤So wish this was painted and permanent. Love illusion street art! ".... I wasnt meant to go to hell...." 😂😂😂 I can tell when you're having fun. I'm here for watching you have fun 😊 Surprisingly alot of planning involved... Sooo worth it
It took me back to one of those paintings that'd we'd see on children's old story books which would absolutely suck your brain into it and make interact by imaginations. Love the details and highlights. And love how it took me back in time.
No pain, no gain. This is incredible!! I'm constantly amazed that you can master new art challenges so quickly!!!
This was AMAZING!!! Holy crap!! I have always marveled over the street chalk artists who can pull these optical illusions off! Perspective has never been my friend, something I really need to work on. Loved this so much!
Mate, the creativity and the looks just flow off your hands, I love it and would love to see an acrylic “permanent” painting in this style. You rock and this was to me, your best implementation of the different applications in the last couple of years. Hard to top this but I’m excited to what comes next!
This is one of my favorite artworks from Jazza. The interactivity of the 3D effect, which is the closest way of bringing everything from mere imagination to reality is sooo coool!
Wow! What an amazing piece! I loved seeing the team's reaction at the end! And take the time to heal, you don't want the pain to get worse and not go away... Amazing result!
Genuinely loved the result in this one. Hope it wasn't blizzard that pulled out of the other project you mentioned in the previous video
Pretty sure it was, I believe he mentioned it being a large chalk painting project. You don’t find 5 figure sponsers often, Blizzard would certainly be one of them.
@@TheThewhatnow went back to that video, and he mentions the chalk art as a separate project he was working on and being excited to publish it, so it's more likely that it was a different sponsor, and not blizzard
First, as someone with chronic pain, it matters to talk about the pain. Labor, even labor we love, isn't all sweetness and light, and it's toxic to pretend otherwise.
Second, I'm shocked that people aren't commenting more about the amazing reflections on the prop sword in the final shots. The reflections of the lighting and also of the colors below, just add an extra unique touch of awesome to all the photos of people immersing themselves in this world you've created.
Don’t apologise for talking about the pain, one of the reasons we’ve been following you for years and for which we keep checking in is how genuine you are, à can’t draw for **** (I wrote a bit but this really isn’t the point of this comment) but one of the things I love about your content is the fact that you actually talk about what it feels like when you make art, no matter the medium. I hope you’re doing okay, I don’t know about the rest (though I think most will agree » bur know that if you ever need to take a break (even a long one) I’ll be there when you want to come back. Lots of love, take care ♥️
Amazing artwork!! It looks so cool and it was also great to see everyone's poses and reactions 😁
Amazing Jazza! You never fail to impress, I’m always in awe of your talent! Your back-breaking work has really paid off, you should be immensely proud of everything you and the team are achieving.
As someone who lives with chronic pain but still lives my life with a full time job, kids, husband, and all; it was refreshing seeing you talk about the pain you were in and pushing through. It was real. It was life. I get it! (Hope that doesn't sound weird) it was amazing and my son absolutely loved it. It was so good!
This is fantastic. Thanks for letting us see how you worked out the perspective and everything -- it was really helpful.
And also, thank you for talking about your pain -- art of all kinds is real work and we shouldn't be afraid of letting people know that. Too many people think it's easy to be an artist when it never is, even if it's worth the pain in the end.
This is so incredibly cool. I especially love that fiery glow coming from the "depth".
You never let us down. This artwork is amazing!
I love how you can always count on Blizzard to sponsor Jazza! Their creations are fantastic and Jazza always does such a great job making art inspired by their games.
This idea was a perfect match for Diablo! I’d also love to see an illusion artwork like this made by Jazza out on the street, so we could see the reactions of people passing by. Super fun to watch and I’m glad Jazza didn’t die in the process!
Such a fun video! Always love to see the epic art challenges without gimmicks!
To the person reading this: Even though I don’t know you, I wish you the best of what life has to offer ❤
Ayo, thanks, bro. Same goes to you :)
Really love his joyful personality. He is the kind who guy who makes you forget the problems of your own life and laugh out loud genuinely. Love this guy
Absolutely gorgeous! And such a cool effect! I’m having a blast with D4 and it’s really awesome to see Jazza doing Diablo artwork, I love it!
would love to see something like this on the sidewalk 🔥
Thats amazing, will you do another? Or was it too painful? Maybe one going down into an under water world?
This turned out amazing!!! Thank you for sharing all the steps of the process.
That really came together! Always love your videos and seeing the process. This was especially cool to see from start to finish. Very effective.
It came out great! I love seeing everyone having fun with the illusion
Is this the sponsor that didn’t like the final artwork???
My thought exactly
I am so fascinated by those who can create these kinds of illusions! I know it's all about perspective and lines and angels, but still. This turned out great.
So good! Chalk art always amazes me with how much you’re able to trick the mind! Love this video!
Nice
Noice 👌
ding ding ding you are truly the real first !!! congrats
Congrats on being the first 👀
@@RealBasil143 nice
I definitely want to see you revisit chalk illusions some time in the future because you're great at it Jazza! Especially being able to add yourselves into it
Wow so very cool! Worth the pain you went through. I would love to see you do more of these. My daughter and I loved it.
Wow!! 😮 More of these chalk arts please!! I love it!
So good. I haven’t played Diablo in years and this doesn’t exactly look like the style but it really gets me in the mood to check this out, seriously
That was amazing!! I love chalk illusion art and it was so fun to see you really dive into the medium as usual!! Keep up the hard work! Me and my family love watching all your videos and have watched you for many many years now!!
This is so cool! I love this kind of art and you nailled it!
Fun tips! As chalk artists, we use tempura paint/chalk paint (available at hobby lobby, or michaels) to hitch doesn’t smudge or smear like chalk does, so that the public can pose on our 3-D pieces without worry. Plus you can add normal chalk on top for extra fine details if you’d like. It still washes out after rain, but lasts longer and won’t smudge
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! This is BEYOND one of your best work I've ever seen! I would love to see more of this style of this art! Because holy hell!
14:28 when he grabs the blade of the sword lol
That was so awesome to watch the whole scene come to life! I love it! I love the reaction of your co-workers too. Thanks for sharing this video.
Super, super cool! It was great to see how pleased you were with the outcome. I'm sure that all the effort put into making it made the result that much more satisfying at the end! Great job!
That transition at 11:46 was really really cool and caught my eye! I actually watched it a few times cause of how cool it was.
Awesome work. What I enjoyed most was the fun that you had while building this. Despite the pain, it was so cheerful and inspiring. Makes me want to get out of my comfort zone a bit and try some new techniques. Thank you so much :)
So bloody cool, Jazza! I've always had trouble with perspective in my drawings and paintings. So maybe I should start working with a grid. I am in awe of your creations.
This might be one of my favorites of the last six years or so. That perspective and payoff, what a trip! Well done.
This is sooooo cool. I love chalk illusion art and I love good rim lighting so that was extra satisfying to watch
Awesome! The work you put into everything you do is amazing and it shows in the results. You are such an inspiration.
Wow! This is incredible. Ps - don't worry about complaining about the pain it helps us relate and acknowledge how much work went into it. Also, I kept thinking you needed a contraption/sling like on Honey I Shrunk the kids.
Wow amazing work! You are such a huge inspiration for all the artists out there. Thank you for that
This is incredible!! I really love the effect that you achived!
It looks so cool! Reminds me of my childhood of drawing on the road floor and makes me wanna learn and try perspective art with chalk too
This was amazing! I love stuff like this, well done!
I've always been intrigued by what folks can do with chalk-art! I've seen a ton of these in the past but this one is friggin' sweet! G'stuff, Jazza!
This is amazing, So much detail, I absolutely love it.
Hey Jazza! I just wanted to let you know that you are my go to channel to put on when I am feeling down or lonely. Your cheesey jokes and amazing art always put a smile on my face. Never stop being you and doing what you do man. Thank you for keeping me company these last few years.
Wow, this is really really amazing, it is always very inspiring to see your creativity (which initially sounds impossible but then ) take shape and fully come to life!
What an awesome effect ❤ So happy you tried this
This is frickin AMAZING!!!!! I love perspective pieces like this and they are so difficult to get right! Continuing the bricks was a very clever idea and the details in the light really do make all the difference, great job as always! And as a short over thirty-year old with a physically demanding job - i feel your pain 😬 my wrists and knees wouldve been dead after three days of labor like this +_+
Super crazy that even the line work...WORKED!!! very cool...
This is good!!! Love the prospective!! Really inspiring!!
Your talent for anything and everything is so amazing. Love watching your creative mind in action!
Your work is absolutely awesome, Jazza. This video was wonderful!
What fantastic depth and perspective. Love it.
So freaking cool Jazza! Great job as usual!
So good! Love seeing you have so much fun.
This looks incredible! You did such an amazing job Jazza! It was fun seeing everyone’s reactions as well.
Really cool looking!
Its almost unbelievable how much perception can change things
So cool! Amazing work, as always! Fantasy and nerd content Jazza, is high on my list of favorite Jazzas!
Wow. That was phenomenal, Jazza. I love 3D chalk art and you made it look fantastic. Thanks for sharing, mate.
Less than 2 minutes in and I'm already impressed. You literally just SKETCHED THE OUTLINES OF BRICKS and it looks amazing. Can't wait to see the end.
Confirmed: it's amazing.
Fantastic work as always! I'd love to watch you create some matte paintings on glass -- old Hollywood style -- so you can put yourself (and crew) in some crazy locations!
Amazing work! I had to pause the video and just take in all that incredible detail. How anyone can question your talent is beyond me.
This perspective stuff looks soooooo cool! it is really immersive art!
Im soo glad ur back hope u had a good holiday
This is a lovely piece after a long time. Appreciated it very much. Thankyou. The art paid off.
This turned out so great!🎉🎉 Loved and enjoyed the process, congrats on this Jazza!!
Thank you Jazza, I can only imagine how hard this amazing artwork was to finish. Looks absolutely spectacular!
This is awesome. Good job Jazza😊
This is definitely one of my new favorites of yours, Jazza! So cool :)
I could feel my knees hurting just watching this, great job Jazza. Hope we get some more chalk art vids cuz this was super fun to watch.
