We have the physicality, pace, and technical ability to make it out of this group. Reid, Gray, Nicholson, and Bailey are all in good form right now. Michail Antonio should be returning to training for West Ham soon from the MCL sprain. Mi bredren from Jamaica 🇯🇲 can definitely make waves in the Copa America. JAMROCK STAND UP 🇯🇲 🇯🇲🇯🇲!!!
10 years ago I would've said Mexico was the clear favorite to make it out in the number 1 spot but I'm legitimately worried that they'll even be able to make it out of this group. I really didn't see them failing to qualify to the round of 16 at the world cup just because they had history backing them up plus that group was ass. I see them either coming in 2nd and then facing Argentina in the Quarter Finals which is wraps or they fail to qualify and Ecuador/Venezuela go through.
Ecuador has better players individually at this time than any Mexico team in the 21st century
Our only problem is we keep calling up the same old players it's not until recently we've called up people that are different from the same ones
Unfortunately this is all about money 💰 and I wouldn’t be surprised Mexico’s best players show 🆙 (referees) to give them an edge against all 3 teams in the group to make sure they top the group and avoid Argentina 🇦🇷 in quarterfinals. This is not about the sport anymore, it’s about filling the stadiums 🏟️ to capacity as long as possible and in the USA that is Mexico by a long shot compared to Ecuador 🇪🇨 Venezuela 🇻🇪 and Jamaica 🇯🇲
@@franciscosalvador7124 bro still salty bout the Honduran match
@@MexicanPochita we all know this is rigged, your own blown up football media pundits have no issues saying it, Mexico get helped by the referees, or you forgot how the referees helped Mexico in the Copa Oro against Panama 🇵🇦 where it was clearly rigged for Mexico 🇲🇽 not to loose and given a penalty kick…. Where you can see the decline in Mexico’s football is at u-20 where you all get Eliminated by Guatemala 🇬🇹 in Penalties and didn’t even make the World Cup 😂🤣😂🤣 I honestly hope Venezuela 🇻🇪 and Ecuador 🇪🇨 are at the top of their game in Copa America and give Mexico 🇲🇽 a reality check of where they really are compared to Conmebol teams…
Big up me Hermano. Continue to keep up the good work. ☘️🇯🇲🇯🇲. Big up the Mexican too
In South America we have something called The Group Or Life. The idea is that in the Group of Death you at least one, two or even three worldpowers ( Italy, Brazil and Argentina in 1982, or Italy, Uruguay and England back in 2014) that are goint to do everything in their power to outscore the other just on case both lose a game and relay on goal differentials to advance. In Groups of Life manwhile, no team on paper has the power absolutely demoloish another in its gorup so technically ANY team has the chance to advance. And in this case, Mexico's group ia indeed The Group Of Life.
1999 women's world cup had a group of death (Brazil, Germany & Italy, such group requires 3 teams to progress into knockout stage) too
@@jimmyyue238 It could happen. The problem with the 1982 group was it was the second group stage as per due given the format of that particular tournament. All of those teams came from previous groups which were actually not insane, and just happened to have the worst luck imaginable and fall in the same group where only a single team could advance and it ended up being Italy who were the eventual champions. France meanwhile had Austria and Northern Ireland which at the time were not even close to what they would eventually become during Xhaka's time. So a little imbalanced if you ask me.
I’m Mexican and I want Mexico and Jamaica to make it out of the group stages. Ecuadorians and Venezuelans have been talking too much smack lately on TikTok, CZcams, and Twitter. It’s time to give them a taste of reality, especially when those two teams have negatively numbers against Mexico.
That’s historically. These events are about the present. So Mexicos reality at the moment is they don’t play as a team and don’t really have stand out individuals.
Now the tourney is 7 months away so maybe they will improve massively in that period but I don’t see it as like I said there are no crazy goood youngsters waiting in the wings.
@@andresquintero2436 Mexico played better against Germany than the US did, so I definitely do see Mexico going to the next stages. The only argument the opposition has, is how Mexico played against Honduras. However, Mexico doesn’t usually win games in Honduran soil so I kinda saw it coming that they were gonna lose at the away game and still advance to the next round at home while still struggling. If the Mexico vs Honduras game was played 1 time in the US, Mexico would make it to the next round pretty easy. Mexico will surely make it to the next round.
Seriously , talking like you Mexicans aren't the most racist cocky people in Latin America lol
@@FootballDripsdon't know man. the second leg win wasn't convincing at all. 37 shots and only 2 goals on Honduras. I don't think Venezuela, Ecuador and Jamaica are gonna allow that many shots for you guys. let's see in the upcoming friendlies
@@Cold_Stride1987 It’s understandable why Mexico didn’t do well in the second leg at home against Honduras also, bc of the situation mexico was in. They were 2 goals down so they were already playing in a desperate way since minute 1. If Mexico played 1 time against Honduras in the US, Mexico would make it to the next round so easily. Also, I mean, technically Jamaica is a better team than Honduras and we already beat them 3-0 at the semifinal of the gold cup. Anyways, good luck to all concacaf teams.
Jamaica let's beef up that midfield and cruise through this group! We have the talent!!!
I don’t think you have the talent to cruise through this group. Now Jamaica may advance but it won’t be cruising.
Hey bro love the honesty, Jamaica is good on paper but we have a Tottenham mentality. one love from JA bruv
The only reason why this is the closest to the group of death is that there's not one team that doesn't have the talent or the teamwork. My biggest question is what dual nats could Jamaica win over the next few months.
Jamaica 🇯🇲 is a big dark horse in this competition
In the group yes. But they won’t pass quarterfinals. Same boat as Mexico.
@@andresquintero2436 ok let’s see I am realistic any team can win on any given day 🇯🇲🍿
@@tycoonrave3514yes I’m theory. In practice you grow into the moment. Jamaica has a good squad and has underperformed. But that’s the problem. They’ve shown nothing that indicates they are on the verge of breaking out.
I Want To See How Our Reggae Boyz Perform Against USMNT In The Concacaf Semi Finals & Then I Can Truly Gauge Where We Are !!
no we wont have Gray or Nicholson. Those are HUGE LOSSES. Hopefully we can get Greenwood by then.
@@PropertiesForSaleInJamaica Exactly What I Mean A Team Is More Than Two Players!
Its funny how Mexico could realistically get 9 or 0 points from this group. It all depends on what Mexico shows up, and ofcourse on the other team’s performances.
9 no. Not realistically. They are not better than all 3 sides. Maybe better than Jamaica and even with Venezuela.
@@andresquintero2436 probably so - even when Mexico plays their best, it usually lasts 1 or 2 matches before they have another underwhelming or downright terrible performance
mexico are probably gonna get second or third in this group
Ecuador has a record of using Copa America as training ground for the qualifiers. It does not mean it will always be the same.
That’s an excuse
this is the worst option you could have gotten. I'm not saying you dont make it out but Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay as far as group options are interchangeable, Peru was the one desirable option (sorry Peru) and in pot's 3 & 4 you got exactly the worst option each time. When you consider that Uruguay & Mexico should have swapped pots and Peru & Ven should have as well, this is basically a group w/ 3 pot 2 teams and a potential pot 3 team/wildcard in Jamaica. we'll see what form teams are in come summer.
Apologies, I fixed it
Respectfully speaking because I have actually lived in Bolivia in the past… but, my local high school team would probably beat Bolivia. 😅
Just saw Mexicos list for the game Colombia am Impresser Mexico calling 20 year olds is something I would never thought jimmy had in mind but at least he’s giving the youth a shot finally 😂
I am Jamaican and reggaeboyz fan , but support Mexico 🇲🇽 and jamaica 🇯🇲 in capa America, I would to subscribe to your channel for Mexican food in English.
Ima sub i gotchu G amazing content brotha
If Jamaica get mason greenwood and a few more pieces like popcaan would say "troooble deh deh"
I'm rooting for our Concacaf teams in this tournament 👏. If there's anytime we gonna step our game up and get to that level beyond....the time I'm is now. We as Concacaf fans have a role to play too. Come out in numbers and support Mexico, Jamaica, USA , Panama etc. From this group I want Jamaica and Mexico to go through!! I know it's not gonna be easy but let's create history!🎉
I agree with all the points. Great video.
I have some questions for you bro.
What is your goalkeeper take for Copa America?
What is your perfect mid field for Mexico?
7:44 we’ll all be crying together Jack
I think this is good for the Mexican team we need tough games to grow and develop more as a team
How strange that you don't say that Mexico will walk the group past, because that's what Mexicans generally say.
Jamaica could look different at Copa Squad boozing
Jamaica is on the up stay humble ja pray and stay focused big things ahead
Gotta see how Jamaica plays vs USA in nations league first
The problem is the inconsistency with mexico. They tied germany who is better than anyone in this group. But then almost lost to Honduras. You never really known than mexico
💯 truth in this video
I want to switch places with Argentina or USA. If México get 2nd place in group bruhhhh México need warm-up before facing Argentina.
Hopefully the game against Brazil and Uruguay help Mexico prepare cause we are gonna need it Mexico is just inconsistent we’re not bad we can actually pull a few surprises don’t underestimate any team in this group cause you never know hopefully Mexico can top this group cause I don’t want to face Argentina
Being that its in the USA I think that makes it easier for all the teams in this group tbh
Off-topic real quick any thoughts on Tigres versus America final in Liga MX?
Thank you bro 🇯🇲💥👍
Historically Ecuador doesn’t do well in Copa America 😞and I just hope they perform a good game
Why do i get the feeling the US finish top of their group and Colombia beat Brazil so Brazil get 2nd in theirs
It’s very realistic for Mexico to get second in this group but asking them to top this group is a tall task for this Mexican side
Jamaica getting 4 epl player
It also depends on the nations league performance in March, right?
Depends on what your definition of group of death is. There are no clear winners. Does that make it a group of death? There is no potential for a "giant" or "giants" to be knocked off because there are no giants in this group. Does that make it not a group of death?
Should be an even battle. Better avoid those draws. Luckily they have a good home crowds for their matches.
Really hoping for Ecuador to give us good games, we have like 6 months to practice how to properly score cause we’re lacking a lot in that area but I really have my hopes up.
Mexico de Televisa no va a hacer nada.
nice sweater vamos 🇲🇽
I wanna see mexirobo vs argenfifa in the quarters Connor will have bragging rites :p pero tenemos un arma secreta !! haha🦾
Jamaican to the world ❤❤
I totally agree with you about 🇯🇲💥
Thoughts on the very youthful players that we called up for the game against Colombia
Perú will play the final vs Brazil in Miami.
I was born in mexico but raised in the usa and have been a mexico fan all my life, but I honestly lost all hope when we lost with the usa this past june 15. This is when I realized that we are bad. Jimmy lozano is just a puppet. I don't see any improvement unless we focus on the youth academies.
We aren’t that bad we just need to send more players to Europa and get rid of all this corruption
I say we win against Jamaica, tie against Venezuela and lose against Ecuador. We get second behind Ecuador and absolutely get spanked by Argentina. 👍🏽

15 years ago if Mexico hit this group Mexicans everywhere including me would be laughing with joy but now we're sh**ting our pants... We need to make history repeat itself and beat both Ecuador and Venezuela, if that doesnt happen then our fifa ranking needs refresh itself because we are not 14th in the world rn.. I am aware that Ecaudor and Venezuela are hot and maybe better then Mexico, what im trying to say is that we need to wake tf up
You should not believe in the FIFA ranking, it is a very unrealistic ranking, also football is not measured by a ranking, although if you care a lot about rankings you can see the Elo, it is much more realistic than FIFA and takes into account different factors.
You are giving Mexico too much credit though I would have put them third.
Ecuador and Vzla nowadays are better than Mexico
Big up mehico 🇯🇲☝🏽
Nah historicly we have way better récord against all of this teams. And yes I know they are not same teams as 20 years but is the same thing with Mexico. Mexico is changing there whole team and we have a lot of youth know. We will be fine mark my words
Just to give you a bit of a perspective with Ecuador and Mexico, in your so called Copa Oro that you all won, with LamboJimmy at the helm you all played Qatar 🇶🇦 in the USA 🇺🇸 with a full stadium 🏟️ with all your main players, final score Mexico 🇲🇽 0 Qatar 🇶🇦 1 this was July 2 2023… Ecuador 🇪🇨 at the World Cup breezed through Qatar 🇶🇦 2-0 with one goal being disallowed, and looking at the Leagues where most of the Ecuadorian players who are on the starting eleven play, yeah 😎 not even close to where most of Mexicos best 11 currently play, here are just a few….
Piero Hincapié 22 (Bayern Leverkusen coached by Xavi Alonso) Bundesliga / William Pacho 21 (Eintracht Frankfurt) Bundesliga - go watch his game against Bayer Munich / Pervis Estupiñan 24 ( Brighton & Hove Albion ) Premier League / Moises Caicedo 22 ( Chelsea ) Premier League / Davis Bautista 19 (Eintracht Frankfurt) Bundesliga / Jeremy Sarmiento 21 ( Brighton & Hove Albion ) Premier League / José Cifuentes 24 ( Rangers ) Scottish Premier League / Ángelo Preciado 24 (K.R.C. Genk) - Jupiler Pro League / Joel Ordóñez 20 (Brujas) - Jupiler Pro League / Nilson Angulo 20 (R.S.C. Anderlecht) - Jupiler Pro League / Anthony Valencia 20 (Royal Antwerp) - Jupiler Pro League / Jackson Porozo 25 (Olympiacos) - Super League 1 / Enner Valencia 34 ( Inter de Porto Alegre ) Brasileirao / Kendry Paez 16 (IDV) Liga Pro - Bought by Chelsea ( Premier League ) / Alan Franco 27 ( Atlético Mineiro ) Brasileirao / Kevin Rodriguez 23 (Royale Union Saint-Gilloise) Jupiler Pro League and the list goes on, 75% of the players are not even 25 yet, playing in European Cups and Leagues and in South American Competitions at the highest level, a few of this players are in the radar of teams like Liverpool ( Premier League ) for a posible transfer before Copa America…. I almost forgot Gonzalo Plata 23 ( in the radar for a move to Valencia in LaLiga ) now compare that to Mexico’s roster and the Teams and Leagues they are playing at…. Mexico’s problem is they don’t give their you players the tools to be competitive or even play in Liga MX, one recent example Diego Lainez, left Club America at 19 for Real Betis in LaLiga did not play at all with 2 different coaches, then went to a mid table club in Portugal Braga nothing now he’s back at Tigres in Liga MX at 21 or 22…. on the other hand Ecuador currently are developing young talents in massive numbers and sending them to play in Europe at 16 Kendry Paez but mostly 19 onwards and they are adapting in their teams fairly quickly and jumping to better teams in a short time, so I feel like a lot of people in Mexico are not aware of the football revolution in Ecuador. Oh and by the way, don’t expect Alex el Güero Aguinaga to give you an insight either, he is more Mexican that a Jarritos soda 😂😂😂😂
@@franciscosalvador7124 so we are better than argentina because we beat Saudi Arabia and Saudi Arabia won against argentina we are better because we won against Germany and Germany won against argentina in the final 😂 cmon man 😂 i like how you put all this players like they play for the national team plus you acting like they are in good teams 😂 presiado in the check league cifuentes en Scotland 😂 your goal keeper in aucas and liga 😂 enner in brasil yeboah in poland gruzo in the mls 😂 plata in qatar 😂😂😂😂 cmon man 😂 alex alcala un man city, González in real sociedad, center defender in sporting lisboa, striker goalscorer in elche, carrillo and another guy gijon Alva alvarez sold to Feyenoord, stephano carrillo to newcastle, fidel barajas soon to atlético, ruvalcaba in standard de lieja, jorge in porto, araujo in barca, montes almeria, johan in genoa, arteaga genk, alvarez west ham, chavez dynamo, orbelin and pizarro in aek Athens yes the one who made pervis dance 😂 chucky psv, raul jimenez back in form playing for Fulham, santi jimenez Feyenoord, portales in dundee in the Scottish league but we don’t care about him. 😂 ecuador is nothing ONLY four players in good team hincapié eating bench Moises el regala goles 😂 pacho he is alright and pervis is good 🤷🏽 16 w 3 L for Mexico 🇲🇽💪🏽😂🤫

Us as a Mexican fan base gotta stoop underrating the other teams. That’s one of our biggest enemy. We did it to Honduras, let’s not do it again.
To me Canada rlly fumbled a game where they looked clearly better. I’d still rank Panama and maybe Canada above them as the best pot 4 team
Need a Luis Chavez free kick banger against Ecuador
ngl im ecuadorian but if u guys do get a free kick, then we will probably get scored on, i just hope its not galindez thats gonna be our goalkeeper
Ecuador will easily win the group, they have awesome players that play all over the world trust me on that dude….
its a toughhhh group bro :/
Yes it is. For all. Mexico won’t be easy either like some think. Jamaica has awkward athleticism and good individuals.
The difference is Mexico is in bad form and it happens to be the other 3 teams are in good form. That would be my concern. At the end of the day Venezuela is Venezuela and Jamaica is Jamaica. If Mexico cant make it out, i think it will be more of their bad form as opposed to how good their opponents are. 6 months from now, the conversation can be different.
I know Mexico well , They will get 5 points and qualify to the next round , if Mexico get unlucky they will face Argentina and lose again with 2 goals .
Cover Group C for the US 🙏🏼
It is a hard group for Mexico
Nah that +11 coment😂
mexico already defeated Jamaica 3-0 in copa oro, if they play the same they should win but Mexican players keep under-performing and they keep not paying attention to the manager, the rest are Ecuador and Venezuela and those are the difficult teams, Venezuela is underwhelming and they are known bottlers Mexico should be able to defeat Venezuela if they focus in the game, then Ecuador is much more difficult, they could get a tie if they play well against them ending first if Venezuela manage to get a tie against ecuador
Mexico has to be in first place in the group, (JG)imenez binomio will be on fire
They have to be so they don’t face Argentina in quarterfinals but I really doubt they will be.
they wont
I'd watch a video of you crying.
Well keep an eye on Venezuela we dont know if FIFA will disqualify them for Guyana conflict
The Copa América is not a FIFA tournament, it is a Conmebol tournament.
This group is so easy easy 🇲🇽1st 9pts gd +8
Lmao. Please come back into chat in June.
Hahaha 🤣, we will see that in June, where Mexico will most likely be 3rd in the group.

No disrespect to Mexico but we Ecuadorians and Venezuelans are so happy we got Mexico highkey the weakest from pot 1. Ecuador just needs a better coach cuz Ecuador got the talent to spank Uruguay and Colombia trust
Bruh Mexico will be the real host! I believe Mexico will improve and win that group and why not beat Argentina in the semifinals
Ya and why not beat Uruguay in the final and why not go on to win the World Cup and why not place the first Mexican on the moon and…
