The last Tool concert I went to the opener was awful. It was one guy playing industrial metal with a light show that was just an extremely bright light. All I could do was stare at the store and wait for it to end.

Meshuggah is relentless start to finish at their shows. Glad I got to see them twice and with Frederik Thordendal. The last time I saw them was in 2012. A band called Baroness was the second band and they were way more mellow laid back and a lot of people at the show were like wtf, which is exactly what Meshuggah wanted, so every one would be riled and ready to just go insane.

I saw meshuggah live last year they were playing in their hometown in Sweden, they just entered the venue did like 1,5 h show and didn't say a word just played all the set and left absolutely awesome show just straight shugging!

Saw them open for Ministry and then headline a few years later. Fractured my leg and bruised my ribs at the headline show. I didn't even realize it till the next morning, my adrenaline was so ramped. I remember going to the bathroom and people were just bleeding into the sinks. Shit was bananas. The most insane pits I've ever been in and I've been to a lot of gnarly shows.
