Anyone catch the pinball machine that Beard and Lasso were playing at the end of season 3 when Ted decides to return to the US? It was Wizard of Oz themed - as in Kansas - "there's no place like home". And I believe that the closing credits song was Diana Ross from The Wiz movie, titled Home. In the final game Ted is wearing red tennis shoes - ruby slippers reference? If this series is a reimagining of The Wizard of Oz, it seems appropriate that Rupert would represent the Wicked Witch of the West (Ham).

My thoughts exactly! If it had gone on longer, I definitely would have watched, but I thought ending it early was a smart move! Too many TV shows go on for too long, and start to have more unnecessary drama and/or outlandish storylines. Ending it after a few amazing seasons kept the show amazing without taking things too far 💚

    There are more Cheers references:
-The mystery couple in Season 2 turns out to be Sam and Rebecca (Ted Danson and Kirstie Alley's characters in Cheers).

There was a very obvious marvelous Mrs Maisel reference early in season 3. And I believe there is a Ted Lasso Reference in marvelous Mrs Maisel. In the latest episode midge struggles to remember the term semantic satiation which is a call back to season 1 of Ted lasso. I don’t think it’s a coincidence. But it could be.

Good movie nod was the Amsterdam episode when Roy tells Jamie he can't ride a bike, then Jamie (and the bike thief) laugh...like Redford telling Newman he can't swim and Newman laughing on the cliff in Butch Cassidy. Then Roy learns how to ride it with Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head playing just like the bicycle scene in Butch Cassidy.
Sigh...this show had too many easter eggs to count!

They were very good picks, though I didn't think that the pillow fight and former manager George whoever were very obscure. Looking back, I think maybe I did realize some of the ones said while watching the episodes, but I guess they didn't really stick with me.
A little suprised that none of the potential Wizard of Oz references were mentioned, but over all good list! I don't know who else noticed this in the previous episode, but I think the green matchbook is just a symbol of Family and probably AFC Richmond and everybody's bond with each other.
