Hey bud, it was around 2012 I was at a small gig in NZ went outside for a smoke, and heard a girl singing this song, which is my favorite. I started sing too, and found the singer taking a slash behind a dumpster lol

Danzig is the only Misfit singer ever. There might be a band that uses the same name, and even has 1-2 original members. But the Misfits were Danzig. Period. He started it, wrote every chord and lyric, and is the reason there ever was The Misfits.
Look. Danzig is the best. 100%. But Graves is really damn good too. He managed to keep the feel that I love from the misfits and made alot of punk/rock anthems in his run of the band. He is undisputed, a misfits. Jerry Only however was a shit front man lmao.
This is the video that introduced me to The Misfits and also the video that helped me learn my first song Last Caress nearly 3 years ago. Now I’m able to play almost every single one of their songs. Patrick, I thank you 🤘🤘🤘

Danzig is OG, but Graves has his own style. Their both good, Only should just kept to bass and back up vocals but it looks like he has fun. So who's to stop him?
Jerry's vocals is really bad, but I give him credit for trying to keep the Legacy going. I'd love to see the original band do a new record. We never thought we'd see a reunion but here they are selling out arenas

@@thedave1674 I don't think onlys vocals are that bad. I think he just sucks at writing lyrics. They did a cover album called project 1950 and even if it isn't your thing, he hits the notes consistently. I think he just writes boring lyrics.
Franche Coma played "Last Caress" the best. Full on bar chords. I don't care what anybody says the "Static Age" era of the Misfits was the best.

thanx patrick, danzig is def the misfits greatest singer, and he is the best songwriter the band ever had by far as well! danzig is a legend, samhain and danzig are incredible bands as well! he has truly done it all, from punk to deathrock/horror punk, metal to blues to classical, guy is amazing!

patric youre the best man!! as someone who plays a lot of punk shows these definitely help if i wanna get my crowd to feel nostalgic ;) btw are you using 9s for guitar strings? i dont typically use ibanez but i have a Jackson dinky with Jackson pickups that definitely get that old misfits/the exploited sound
Hey Andy, glad to help, I liked making it. Yes I'm using 9s on the Ibanez ;they came stock and I just got used to them. I don't really have a ton of guitars and this Ibanez is my favorite so I almost always just play that when I'm playing electric.

I used to be a michael graves guy because thats what I heard first but after listening to most of their stuff danzig is best. No offense if you like the newer stuff but I don't think anything after Michael graves is worth listening to.
