Binge watch the entire Seven Three Garage build series again...
Just found your show, love it , I'm the original owner of a 97 F 350 with a standard transmission 192000 on the clock, in Alaska, love the show
Sick as Hell dude, can’t wait to get my superduty finished. 7tree for life
Love the genius wood work. You should carve a ford emblem and burn it in! Just my 2 pennies! Love the hard work you put in to detail! Keep on “ stroking”
Cleanest 7.3 I've ever seen. Nice big turbo, get that thing on the dyno!
Hope you enter the diesel challenge with this masterpiece. Great work
wow that thing runs cold....very nice truck
Badass obs and a 300. Livin the life
Instantly subbed before I own a obs too
To clear the wiper motor you may need some new new body mounts (poly work good) or possibly a body lift. You can cut some High density nylon sheeting for the body lift and drill the appropriate holes for your bolts. Using a hole saw to cut the sheeting round. This will give you amount of clearance you need without getting to high depending on the thickness needed. Hockey pucks with drilled holes for the body bolts work too.
Awesome! Thank you for the input, I’ll try a few things out👍🏻
Looks like you could use some new front shocks, can’t wait to see the 7.3 in person once pbir opens back up
Good Job Pal. Looks clean also.
Thanks 👍
Nice work my dude.
Thank you!
For a second i thought you were tuning your shoes 😂😂😂at 2:05 but great video keep up the good work. 👌👌👌
Those are actually a friend's shoes, not mine! lol
Big single life 💪 totally different world but I'm running a 488/96/1.32 on my 2006 Cummins but going from a stock to 467 then 472 I learned how to drive around the big single a gated/ratchet shifter where you control shifts helps a ton and more then enough fuel and a looser converter
My phone almost did a backflip in my hand trying to subscribe to this channel.
I like your videos. I like how you said “encourage it” when talking about the fire wall. I use the term “convince it” I have a question about 7.3s. Have you ever heard of someone using a common rail injection system on a 7.3 psd? I’ve seen mechanical injection but I was just curios if anyone has successful done a common rail system.
That truck is my dream truvk
Would a body lift give you the clearance you need with the turbo and wiper motor, not sure but it was the first thing that came to mind
Bro need info on this build its completely over the top and I love it! How can I do this to a 7.3 🤔 I want to make it look as badass as this engine bay looks
hey man where did you get all your gauge peices? I need some for my 97 and I aint ever found any
I got an 03 f250 7.3l what turbo would you recommend looking for 400-500hp range
That 300zx doe👀👀
Hey Here a quick question , can you believe is possible to put a 6.0 turbo with a wicked wheel on-a 2002 f250 7.3 ? . Please help out with this question .
Those black trim covers on your dash, where can I buy those for my obs ?
Get a heat blanket if you don’t already have one it will spoil the turbo quicker also
I had one on the old turbo but it fell apart, might do one this time! Appreciate the suggestion!
Does anyone know if a stock .84 exhaust housing will fit on a GTP38R with a 1.0 exhaust housing? I want quicker spool up is why I ask. The 38R doesn’t really make more than 12 psi until 2,000 rpm then it lights
Just noticed the trans dip stick was gone . What did you do with it? Thanks
Hey, what’s up man I see a lot of your videos on CZcams. I have a 7.3 diesel that a rebuilt. And I don’t have the power I used to have with the truck. I did the 08 swaps would the gearing be the issue?
Hello love the vids getting an obs with a zf5 and I was wonder what that white obs has for a turbo love that whistle
Nice! That truck had a 467.7!
I gotta make a trip soon to over there
Come on over dude!
What intake are you running in your truck?
Body lift to clear the turbo?
Brandon...Is Jeli built in VA? No branches in Fl? Do they have build parts for IDI 7.3 turbos?
They're in VA but moving to NC I think. I'm not sure if they do, you'd have to reach out to them!
Can I call you about the regulator you have going to you're map sensor
What is that intake you have??
Nice ride dude. I have 01 cant wait to get to up greeting it. what is your wheel and tire size.
Wheels are 18x10. Tires are 265/65/18
🔥
Lol and way to go with the paint bud!
Thanks! I appreciate the heads up.Came out much nicer with the primer!
@@The73Garage lol till u scratched it all up putting it in lol
It’s tight in there!
@@The73Garage thats what all women claim ahhahaha
What’s a good turbo for 180/100 injectors upgraded fuel system and upgraded HPOP
If you decide to go T4 mount a s366 or s369sxe would be a bad little unit. If you want to do a drop in turbo a @kcturbos 300x would be good too.
What kit is this??
Awesome video!! I was wondering about your video on the plastic 6.0 style fan upgrade have you noticed a difference in temps? If so how much? And does it seem like the engine doesn’t vibrate as much?
Keep pumping out awesome content!!!!
It has way less drag on the rotating assembly, definitely can feel the difference! Its worth the $130!
I did it on mine don't think about it just do it dorman Auto parts makes a 6.0 fan replacement
How did you do your ccv? About to do t4 irate kit myself.
Ran the west exhaust hose under the passenger side to a catch can!
I would do a 1/2 body lift or try to lover the mountain on the turbo
Fresh body mounts help a ton. I had to do no hammering when getting my 467 (yes it’s smaller but only slightly) when I put fresh body mounts in. But with the irate kits you can lower the mount. It’s fixed
I actually have the new body mounts in the garage, just need to install them! lol
The 7.3 Garage oh it’s a pain if rusted. Bring plenty of beer.
Did you put the turbo in assembled or did you first take the ext housing, cartridge, then comp housing?
I put it in as a unit. Didn’t want to risk having the cover off an bumping the compressor wheel. Seen that a few times😅
@@The73Garage yup, I see the risk. Let me inform you, it doesn't work any other way anyway. I tried them all and it was only a complete turbo that was possible. I didn't like that alternative cause then you have a pretty difficult access to the upper right t4 bolt. I had to cut my 17mm to make it work.
I don't know if it makes a difference compared to an obs but I have an excursion. It was tight in any possible way. Grinded plenum bolt head and the whole deal.
Giggity
What’s the mileage on that truck?? Super nice job on things you’ve done.
Body has 230,xxx
The 7.3 Garage looks good man!
I have 96 witj a crank no start 7.3 any help would be greatly appreciated thank you
There so many videos on this issue on CZcams.. ipr , icp, computer are typical culprits.
@@steveadelmann5844 ok thank u for the response ill do some reasearch. I have subscribed to your channel
This is awesome I got the same paint code is it original?
Nice, unfortunately it's not. Truck was repainted 9 years ago.
dude what color is that blue🥴
My ford trans guy said always keep over drive off unless ur over 60. And I think it even says it in the manual
That’s probably a good practice on a stock trans. With a built unit you don’t have to worry about it.
Way too many rpms for a lower geared truck. 4.10s in mine and I can drive around in overdrive goin 35mph.
@@460FordBronco79 depends on how it's programmed. Still is reccomanded for a street truck. Unless it's a full blown race truck trans. That's what I was told from monster and sun coast trans
@@davidmoore8741 I'd say it depends more on how it's built. I know my overdrive clutches are astronomically bigger than stock. Like 300% or something like that. Brian told me my truck would have zero issues towing in overdrive even at lower rpm. Then again BTS transmissions are all pretty much a "full race truck" transmission. The only factory part he leaves is the shell lol.
Is your truck a factory color if so what is it called ?
Yes, paint color is called "Royal Blue Metallic"
Would this be tighter in a super duty
Never done a T4 in a superduty, but i think they fit a little bit better.
I would do a body lift
What kinda exhaust is on the truck?
4” MBRP turbo back exhaust
Massive turbo. What kind of boost are you getting. Im looking to upgrade but not go crazy on my daily driver
Seen about 40psi of boost so far. Still need to make some tuning adjustments, its something to get used to as a daily driver lol.
How do you have your ccv setup?
I have it run to a catch can under the passenger's side of the truck!
Bro u gotta tone down the intro music deal, about blew my ears out with my headphones...
Ouch I literally just blew my ear out 10 seconds after reading your comment 🤣
@@CertifiedTrucker lol I threw my headphones like wtf! Ow, and I like shit loud but that's absurdly loud haha
What’s it good for injectors?
300/200% and up I think?
What state you from
Florida!
Can you send me the info I need to get you sticker
I should have more stickers ordered for next year with more merchandise!
Looks, good. Hope you didn't spend to much time on this. It's a 1 to 2 hour job
Glad someone found the book time on s400 swapping a 7.3 powerstroke. Nicely done.
Use a body lift to give more room
I did!
You have that nice of a truck atleast put some fuel wheels on it
Pretty small
Get a 6.7 powerstroke there's more power .
Race ONLY, drivability sucks. You made your TRUCK WAY slower EXCEPT in an ALL OUT RACE
YES
@@The73Garage YEEHAW DO IT FOR DALE
Laughs in 5 second 0-60.
Trying to make a 7.3 fast is worthless. Been there and tried it then drove a tuned Ecoboost F150 and was like what the hell have I been doing.
You can definitely make them fast. Just depends on how deep your pockets are lol
The thousands spent trying to make it a Cummins
