Connectivity. This word. This only word. How hard it it's to find in the U.S. Connection in Brazil is instantaneous. In Japan, in many places I've been. I conquered the material world and yet feels hollow. I will visit Russia, Belarus, and the Slavs countries. These cultures maintain that word to their hearts. Connection. How important to life this is. 😊

Seems like this channel is popular among Ukrainians only. As one can see from comments section, only few foreigners actually subscribed for the channel. It needs some push to make it more popular.

Right on Peter, good work! Yes, the Bay area is a very different place, extremely diverse, both on cultures and also the land energetics itself, East bay to north to The city...even each neighborhood it changes every few miles, there is so much to it all. Its only 100 years old really, and compared to Kiev, it has perhaps 1000? And on top of this is was cut off from the rest of the world up until 1990? and in the last decade there is a whole new wave of youth opening to world through the internet, fashion, art, music, technology, and transportation. Ukraine is an interesting place for sure...its somewhere in between, Europe, Middle East, Russia, and itself ;~)

Peter, I'm very appreciated you have visited my city- beautiful Kyiv. I have been watching you for quite sometime and really impressed with your personality. To be completely honest Alexander Pedan isn't good example of Kyiv as he is not local even if he lives here. The spirit of Kyiv is different, real, like you but Pedan is fake, however you mastered that and showed it perfectly well. It felt me with impression this particular video was one showman - Pedan. Stay with people who really care about the city not just show offs.

These videos are really underrated, it's like the best channel about life in Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine, kinda virtual travel tour or guide for those who haven't been here yet. You have to install Krutube and launch YTMonster to promote it and get at least 100K on every video or just show it on BBC )

Thanks Petro! Nicely done video. For me, it was more about a tv-star "showing off" with his fancy car, water skiing and race car driving. I'd like to see and learn more about the city itself, it's history, daily life of ordinary citizens, culture, restaurants, nightlife, schools, street that sells souvenirs, Ukr items, etc. What has changed since the Revolution of Dignity. Above all, speak to someone who took part in the revolution - who slept in tents, how they all became neighbors helping each other out. Also - there's a war in east - what do Kyivans think about that? That would be the most interesting to most viewers! Dyakuyu! ps - anyone speak Ukrainian in Kyiv? would be nice to hear someone speak it on video = instead of hearing Putin's language from everyone. Dyakuyu Petro!

Блин, не думал, что у Педана такой слабый английский. Даже сложно смотреть было, говорил бы на украинском с субтитрами.
Но все же, хоть и с ошибками, но он говорит свободно и спокойно. А некоторые вроде знают идеально, а как говорить, то оказывается, что язык в одном месте .
Ну не знаю, не назвал бы его речь прямо уж таки свободной. Словарный запас на троечку. Нет ну конечно если сравнивать с среднестатистическим "Лондан из зе кепитал оф грейт бритайн", то он конечно молодец, но мне казалось, что человек так тесно связанный с медиа де-факто должен говорить получше.

I've spent one week in Kiev and I don't like this city.It's so depressive place. I love Lviv. People living there are much more friendly then in Kiev.

I am very disappointed by this video. I was really looking forward to this series. I thought you were going to show Kyiv and some interesting complex lives of people who live there. The good things, their struggles, and the bad things. I have lived in Ukraine for over two years and I'm also from California. I don't understand why you interviewed a tv personality and the serious lack of depth in the interview. You did not show the real Kiev. I sincerely hope that your next interviews are better.

Peter, unfortunately Kyiv is not that place you think it is. You are welcomed in Kyiv because you are from the USA, from the great country. Everybody respects you and smiling because you are an american from California. It's like you are God from the Heaven! If you were from Belarus or Moldova nobody looked at you. It's true. Every ukrainian girl LOVES you because you are an american from California with a lot of money, but not just a man.
