I've been a Brunson fan since his last year in Dallas. I watched him so many times come in the 4th qtr and drop 8, 10, 12 floaters in a row to try getting the Mavs back in the game. He's lethal af and gets better every year. Dude's been playing with real heart for years now and it's great to see him get credit. It does eventually pay off.

I've been watching ball since 84...I've never seen a player like Jalen. He has footwork and shooting like MJ or Jokic. He is a bigger, stronger AI in the paint and smarter...without the hops ha! He is SUPER clutch, he is humble and he is showing incredible heart. The dude takes charges and hes 6 foot nothing...A knick through and through! He is a 1A player and a player you bank an organization on. Brunson will have longevity. He has a chance to start a dynasty and has made the Knicks relevant again. Screw Becky Hammond ahhahaa

As a Raps fan and long-time OG supporter, I have a BIG love/hate reaction to how the media is talking about him now lol. On the Raptors he was usually this impactful, while also making clutch shots sometimes. But every American talking head forgets Toronto exists (the recent Pascal love also proves this). I'll never understand the hate/ignorance.

Peopple say the Knicks were healthy. M Rob - who was looking like a DPOY candidate - was out; with Randle and OG out the last 3 games it meant 60% of their starting lineup was out. Amazing.
Don’t forget about the Knicks being a 2 seed w melo (scoring champ), stoudamire (nba all star), jr smith 6man of the year kinda guy), Tyson chandler ( defensive player of the year) reallyyyyy good team
it’s kinda confusing when some analysts focus on awards and championships when evaluating and then for some players they throw it out the window and it’s just a “gut” feeling or eye test.
My only concern with the Knicks is they are peaking too soon. There’s a lot of basketball yet to be played before the playoffs. Can they rely strictly on Brunson being Brunson nightly? I realize other players can get hot but JB takes them across the finish line. Hopefully, they can sustain a consistent level of winning throughout till playoffs begin.
JJ and RJ should do ESPN together sometime. Maybe call a game or two.

The Knicks could care less about the talk or hate. They are ripping it without key players. OG really makes them scary. A top Elite Defender! Thibs has built up every player who buys in the scheme. JB & JR ar Perfect . A ferocious Power Forward who plays hard. A Point Guard who has a heart & game of an Army. We don't need no ones cheap comments to validate who they are.

I think they match up well with anybody in the East except the Celtics, they still rely heavily on Brunson and Boston has two All-Defense caliber guards in Jrue Holiday & Derrick White to pester him all game long. I’d be surprised if Brunson somehow pulls off at least a good series against the Celts in that hypothetical matchup.
