There is whole point that his FTE’s if you read between the lines point that things weren’t so simple with his sister. Reading through them, seeing how his sister tulpa acts in his breakdown. It really points to the fact that at minimum his sister was bossy and controlling, and at worst, blatantly manipulative. Someone who wanted to live vicariously through Korekiyo. It’s clear as day it’s terrible that he killed almost 100 women, but there’s the angle that he’s a bit of a victim here of shitty people.

I agree with everything you said I actually think korekiyo is a good character he isn’t my favorite and is near the bottom on my list but that’s because similar to Angie I think his voice is scary and just makes me feel weird so I just avoid talking to him in the game because I was scared of him
@@shienza it’s been confirmed all of that was fake memories, but even so they basically gave characters trauma through false memories and as they were unaware of it being false, they will still believe it is real trauma. Even with the surviving cast, they will perceive it as real trauma

Technically he was manipulated to thinking it was love, when it was really abuse. But you can have your own opinions on him. And yeah it doesn’t justify his murders at all.
i agree. honestly that plot was incredibly unnecessary. while it makes for a serial killer who kills in the game, who also wasn’t baited by the motive, there was a lot more potential. he could have definitely killed only tenko and gotten away with it, i think that would have been a lot smarter, especially for a serial killer. i still really like kiyo after that plot, but i agree that it ruins him and that he had a lot more potential. while a reason like that to kill people is fitting for a character that was shown to be creepy and outcast, there could have been other options that didn’t ruin him. but i guess we can’t have everything at once.

It's a shame really, this trial would have been much better had that been the case.

I've just noticed that a possible reason Korekiyo's sister might be able to talk through him could be because of the caged child's seance. He might have done it before as the person under the cage so that his sister could talk through him. Maybe even used that power to determine if her sister would be good friends with girls.
Also a missed opportunity for trail 3 was to have Korekiyo's motive be the Necronomicon to revive his sister instead of giving her the 100 friends. If that was his motive they probably would have had Tenko witness Angie's death instead for the double murder but that probably wouldn't have been an easy murder cause of her neo-aikido lol
