I powered my Zeus VTX without Antenna (on 800 mW), but there was a pigtail MMCX to SMA Adapter only (maybe it has saved it finally), it was like 1-1,5 minutes, maybe 2 Minutes maximal (as i waited for GPS Fix), outside, temp was like 19 C. Hope I did not destroy it. Would be nice to test with Your Meter, if it still has 800 mW, or it has lost his maximal output power. Hope it still has its 800 mW. After that I flight like 1 Km and signal was ok, but I cannot compare, because it was my ever first flight with Zeus 🙄😪🤣 1) could you please make such a test, I think a lot of people would be happy to see this? 2) what is the maximal range for 800 mW, i saw some has like a 5 Km, but I cannot imagine this.

Looks great! I really need a replacement for the stock vtx on the baby ape, it's a joke :D 25mw is basically pit mode, and 200mw got me 200m far, and then it cut's out instantly (Why?). Like "perfect" (how good it get's with that one) to completely gone so that's bad. Unrelated question, but I got a gps recently, do you recommend the gps option "set home point once"? (Like once on startup vs everytime you disarm it resets)?

Most of those videos are recorded on GoPro’s where the sound is additionally processed for automatic gain control (AGC) and wind noise cancellation. With such a built in vtx mic you can muffle the wind noise by covering it some acoustic foam but the fpv feed is going to still have some static noise in the audio feed.

Hey, I use this vtx in my rekon5 with bf and could change vtx power levels during the flight just flawless, but as I move to iNAV, my osd shows me that it entered the 5th power level without the vtx even changing its output power... Do you have an idea? Thank you:)
@@Mister_Garibaldi Each setting is a nominal or "at least" power level... To try and make every VTX output exactly 200mw or whatever setting, would be a monumental (and pointless) task..Most Chinese vtxs don't even make the advertised minimums...
@@EnglishTurbines Thanks. Usually when I've seen reviews like these it seems like the actual tested output is lower than the factory reported output, at least after a minute. So I thought that was just an accepted thing....
