- Afghan refugees in Pakistan flooded across the border to return home on October 31, a day ahead of a deportation deadline. Pakistani authorities have ordered an estimated 1.7 million undocumented Afghans to leave voluntarily or face deportation. But many say they will face danger from the Taliban.

Pakistan has generously hosted and supported Afghan refugees for the past four to five decades. However, the country now faces a severe economic crisis. Given the economic challenges and the fact that Pakistan has hosted around 5 million illegal immigrants, it appears to be a logical decision for the gov of Pakistan to encourage these individuals to return to their home countries. This decision is not only in the best interest of Pakistan.

There are few suggestions regarding deportation of all illegal immigrants / Afghans from Pakistan.
All sensitive national documents like Birth certificates, Bay Form, CNIC, Passport, Domicile Driving License must not be issued to any illegal immigrants / Afghans and if already issued must be blocked and cancelled immediately.
All utility companies (i.e PTCL and all 5 Mobile operators, all Power distribution companies, Sul Gas companies Northern and Southern and all Water and Sewerage agencies) must be directed across Pakistan to check and verify each and every connection holder's CNIC and all data through NADRA and if any connection found in the name of any illegal immigrants / Afghans it must immediately be disconnected.
Similarly in transportation (PIA and all private Air Lines, Pakistan Railways, and intercity Transports and Buses) must be directed not to issue travel tickets to any of illegal immigrants / Afghans and CNIC must be checked and verified before issuance of travel tickets.
Similarly all Petroleum Marketing companies (PSO and all Private companies) must be ordered strictly not to give any fuel to any illegal immigrants / Afghans and for this purpose CNIC must be checked and verified before giving fuel.
