Shout out to composer James Horner (RIP) who wrote this amazing melody that floated so beautifully throughout the movie Titanic as Rose's theme, played on piano during the portrait scene and blew everyone away as a power ballad as sung by Celine Dion. This transferred fantastically to a Dan Vasc epic powerful triumphant celebratory cover of this song! I absolutely love this!!

After his killer grin, I love how Dan paid a moment’s tribute to Celine with the slower tempo and power vocals touching on the original. Really have mad respect for that. I too think it would be awesome if Celine somehow heard Dan and Garrett’s unbelievably dynamic remastering of this song. Pretty sure she’d be blown away like everyone else. fun reaction. his hair is naturally curly and he routinely has it straightened. i think he said like every 3 or 4 weeks. almost time to go again, i guess. though, i would like to see it curly like when he was younger.
There are some fan videos of Dan on stage sometime before his first video that shows him with short curly hair and his face painted. Sound is bad, but cool to see. Sorry I don't have the link, but, it popped up when I was just randomly searching for Dan stuff.
When Dan celebrated his 100th video, he recorded “Go the Distance “. He has clips of his evolution from his first video to his 100th. You can see the changes from his “broccoli” hair to his longer hair. And his work in the gym showing up.

Maybe I haven't seen all your Reaction Videos, but this was the best of yours that I've seen. Great spontaneous reactions. Dan IS having a great time with this song. He is smiling and smirking the whole time! The guitarist (Garrett) killed his parts of the song. It takes nothing away from Celine's version, which I have immensely enjoyed in the past until it was wildly overplayed and most people grew tired of it. Still.... they are both excellent. Leave it to Dan to come out with a cover that improves (for some people) on the original song as he has done so many times! I also wondered what Celine thinks of this version.
Your reactions were great, but Dan did warn us that it minght "melt off your face". I had to listen a few times to actually internalise the greatness😊. Garreth Peterson can really make love with the guitar.

Guys.. Let's not fool ourselves. He is a miracle of pitch correction...
No he isn’t! Dan only uses pitch correction when he is splicing in different camera angles. Because Dan doesn’t have someone videoing him, he has to use three cameras set at different angles. Then he sings the song three times. Then he splices in the different angles. Since no one can sing the same way three times, he uses pitch correction to match all angles spliced in. Dan has a video showing how he makes his videos, do yourself a favor and watch it. By the way, all CZcamsrs who show different camera angles in their videos have to use pitch correction. They don’t have the luxury of recording in high-tech studios.
