Cheers mate. Invaluable skills for the home mechanic these days, with rim brakes sadly becoming things of the past.

I have an issue with my ultegra R8070 brake, when trying to push a piston back to bleed my rear brake I cracked the piston (yeah i know), so i replaced the caliper and the system now won't bleed at all. If i gravity bleed nothing comes through, if i attach the syringe at the bottom, cup at the top, open the bleed valve, i can't push any oil through at all but if i squeeze the brake lever i see fluid come through the caliper into the syringe, then when i let go it goes back into the caliper. had the caliper off again and there isn't a blockage, think it's something in the lever that isn't opening right or aligning in order to allow a bleed, any thought's what it could be and how to fix it? cheers.

I'm having trouble with dirty fluid leaking from my shifter, even though I recently replaced both the cable and caliper. I've tried pushing the oil from the caliper to the shifter several times, but the dirty fluid keeps reappearing. Do you have any tips on how to fix this?

is your other method, where you use a bottle spray, better than this? that method looks easier and more efficient?

Can you do this without a bike working stand?

As you open and close the bottom alen bolt and squeeze the lever..... Aren't you just letting air in each time you loosen the bolt?!?!
Surely the gravity method is sufficient?

No because the bowl should always have some fluid in it to prevent this.

Can we still use the trigger sprayer head technique that introduced in your bleeding video last time with this 105 R7120?

Hi, i noticed that my bleeding port seemed to leak even though i had tightened the bleeding screw.
Eventually, my brake lever will go soft again indicating that the fluid had fully leaked out. How do i troubleshoot?
