  • Second video on receiving our new ATVs. Here we concentrate on getting the units put together. It's not a guide but more of a "What you can expect" type video.

    Go to China Riders forum. Look up the thread for ATVs. There's loads of Rhino owners talking mods and such. Read up on things. These require some mechanical know how and a little work. For me...I'm happy to work on my machine knowing I didn't blow 8 grand on something I'm not using 8 hrs a day.

    I bought one for my wife.Everything put together pretty good but the front wheels were I had to do a front wheel alignment.

  • @Rockhounding-with-Bigfoot

    So I am watching your video, and assembling along. First thing I did was air up to 25, I did not go past, was more like 23 to 24, then air down to ten. So far two of the tires are leaking through the stem. Its loud enough of a leak to hear it across the room. I put teflon tape on the thread and twisted the cap as tight as it would go. My suspicion is they will be flat in hours!!! Help

    Those front tires stick out so far past the wheel wells, you're bound to get a mud bath at some point! That being said, with today's prices, this the the ONLY new atv I would consider buying. The real question though: is buying a new Chinese ATV better than buying a 20 year old Japanese ATV for about the same money? To me, I think it's doubtful.

    Hi. Do you know of an older model, doesn't have the black fender flares, not plastic over bumper or racks, it has a big round 3rd headlight in front of handlebars, has identical neutral reverse LEDs and heads.......I was told a 250cx but no year, sub model, etc.......any information will be appreciated. Thanks.

      Thanks for watching Hector! They can get past 40mph easily but I think they are geared more for torque. you can change sprockets and go for more speed or more torque...

      @bobbydemar88  Před 7 lety

      Without getting into specifics...yes. By about 50cc. I like the manual transmission...I'm thinking of changing my sprockets to make it a little slower so I can have more power going up steeper hills. I am told the engine is a reliable workhorse.

    so i bought my first tao tao rhino and to get straight to the point i wish i never had bought one, the way There setup to shift Just kills the power its set up like a car to shift i dont recommend them i was so dissapponited its stays home when we go camping its a pain to drive ....Whats your take on it

    • @bobbydemar88
      @bobbydemar88  Před 7 lety +3

      Hector Hernandez
      So you don't like the manual transmission?
      It was one of the reasons I picked this model. I initially bought a 150cc Roketa in 2013. It has an automatic transmission. When climbing in and out of creek beds, I resented not having the ability to pick which gear I wanted. I get more control with the Rhino.
      Give yourself the time to learn the shifting. Once you do you will enjoy the quad. Please check out China Riders forum online and pick ATVs for the available threads. Don't be discouraged.

    Is it good for drifting

    • @bobbydemar88
      @bobbydemar88  Před 7 lety

      I use it to ride trails for gold prospecting. These won't do well for long jumps and mudding but drifting should be good.
