This mum is preparing her children for the world of saving and spending money as they allocate part of their weekly allowance towards paying for mock rent and bills, garnering over 5 million views on TikTok.
Samantha Bird and her husband have been working together to help educate their children as they navigate the rising inflation costs in Holland, Michigan.
She gives each of her three children $6 each, of which a dollar a week is allocated to their utilities, and then on the first of each month they are charged for rent, groceries and other utilities at a dollar for each category.

How? They're getting their kids ready for the real world, which school doesn't. I'm a uni student and I know loads of other students who have 0 idea how to budget, end up with no money at all
