I don’t think I blinked *at all* once the video turned with the robber holding him up the clerk. The intensity in this video alone is enough, let alone the lyrics and the way NF told the story, especially with the actress doing her part flawlessly. I remember the first time I listened to Story I was just listening to it, not even watching the video. But NF portrays the story so well I was able to image every moment, the anxiety was still there, the shock, the numbness, the shaking, everything was still there. That song broke me, but it helped keep me together in a sort of way.
