  • This is the first live performance of Ochepovsky Project after a forced one-year break caused by the covid-19 world's pandemic. The film from the “Vyrovnávací paměť” studio captures the strength of emotions of both - musicians and fans - who were starving for such live experiences for such a long time.
The film was shot on the International Jazz Day on April 30, 2021 during the “ArtParking” event organized by the Prague-based “Mladí Ladí Jazz” Festival. The concert took place at a time when it was not possible to organize standard live events with an audience in front of the stage, therefore the band played for parked cars. This often involved dancing on the roof of cars or creative ways of cheering from the windows.
"Playing after almost a year on stage with the band was an experience full of adrenaline. We tried to capture the joy we were experiencing at the time. We missed live music su much and it was really not only us who did - the audience gratefully returned our energy in their reactions (and honking!). We will tell our grandchildren about this crazy time one day. It is unbelievable what has happened around the world in the past year. It had a huge impact on the lives of us all,” says the band's frontman Igor Ochepovsky.
The video is supported by Czech Centre Paris.
