I recorded this on Friday before the BH... Did our predictions come true?
I worry that Grimoire of The Haunt will be patched, the way Eloquence tokens are working doesn't feel totally intended. I don't like strategies that I worry about being patched or updated. It's good, I just worry it won't be for long. I think other things will be good or better for longer.
@@sageemerald7685 I might worry about that too, if not for the fact that they actually highlighted this interaction in a rules post on the official website. It was almost as if they wanted to encourage players to dive deeper into this interaction as it could be her core gameplay loop.
@@DMArmada That's interesting, I still think Scepter of Pain is the better choice in blitz, since you can just use her ability and hit blood debt to satisfy the loss of life. Things like that make me think Vynnset's still misunderstood.

Got Star Struck in my box opening and it went straight into my Bravo deck.
You forgot a (very) niche thing about Scowling Flesh Bag, as you intimidate yourself as well with it (target hero), meaning if you have only one card on hand and you need to save a specific card from certain effects (Uzuri's Shake Down, Recoil, Bingo, Surgical Extraction) as they target cards on hand, instead of banishment zone. I don't see it being useful often, if ever, but the tech is there to support it 🧠
it doesnt stop waning moon or crucible since their activations are instants; and WD limites your actions not instants or weapons etc.
Im building aggro prism and I do love my figments. Also as a katsu I faced scowling flesh bag twice last locals tournament and man I hated it so good. It just hung over me before they used it taunting me that if I ever go into some plays my turn is just over early.

Call Down the Lightning in Ice Lexi is BRUTAL! I like a lot too the Misschivious Meeps for Benji. It makes Benji even more dangerous!
I ran a Benji list at a local event the other day and got 2nd place. I'm not gonna say I'm a pro player, but I'd consider ninja my specialty. Meeps is just another way of taking their equipment cuz if they don't block with equipment I'm getting an extra attack. I lost to a Dorinthia tho cuz she just has a wall if equipment. Either way it's super good! 😂
I'm pretty low on Prayer of Bellona, it just misses too often. It would have been good as Light matters. V for Valor, Resounding Courage, and Beaming Bravado are all better tools.
Note about Prayer of Bellona, you *have* to Charge if you hit a Yellow and take it into your hand as a result. Getting to choose would be so much better.
Also a lot of the new Charge cards want a Yellow card to be charged with their own Charge ability. So charging through Prayer of Bellona does not turn them on.
You are correct, but the old Boltyn cards get turned on, for example Take Flight. Normally you would play Take Flight, pitching a card for cost (not counting tunic) and then have to charge to get GA. That's 3 cards for a 4{p} with GA. Now, you Bellona, pitching a yellow, charge a card from your deck, play Take Flight with remaining resource, and you are actually up 1 card (the charge didn't come from hand) and Take Flight is now coming in for 6{p} (assuming red) with Go Again.

The only thing I wish out of this set was a different Boltyn. I was hoping he'd get a new ability or something just to spice it up, but if it ain't broke....
Interested into getting into the game was wondering if dragons are still viable? If so what sets should I focus on when trying to build it ?

Missing unbeliveably powerfull card lost in thought. It is a card that is making tier1 or even t0 deck from dromai.
Prayer is attack, not attack action so if you get the charge you can start with the Sword swing. Blood dripping frenzy is also laughably bad.
Crown of poverty is meh😅
it's very stupid to say that a card with Ward4 saves you 4 life (;
saves you from 1 attack UNLESS it's 1 unpreventable dmg. - which destroys ALL your angels AND still hits you :D
