- Through each of its previous generations, the Honda Civic has upheld thrift and dependability in a very small, fun-to-drive package. The all-new 2016 Civic takes bold chances in elevating small-car fashion, refinement, and build quality. And it succeeds.
In sedan or coupe form, the new Civic is sharp. Our top-level Touring sedan flashed chrome on the door handles and roofline, sported two-tone wheels, had full LED lighting, and generally aced the European sport sedan formula. Inside, the two-tiered instrument cluster has been axed for a cleaner, edgier pod of gauges. Soft-touch rubbers line the dash, no longer broken up into hard, brittle plastic parts that rattle. Some hard plastic remains because the Civic starts under $20K, but its clean presentation of tight panel fits, contrast stitching, and aluminum-look trim makes this car feel expensive. I surprise my father’s engineering colleagues by showing up to his office with exotics. What does it say when they want to see a new Civic?

I do like the LED headlights on the touring. However I don't understand why the Touring doesn't have LED Foglights as well. It just looks silly to put LED headlights and regular bulb fog lights.
Im gonna buy this...just waiting gor the price to drop a little more
me too . i think this march end will be a good time to do so.
It’s a great reliable car.
Did you buy one ?
Great video and great car
I have one like this
I wish the ex from didn't come with a touch screen or at least had the touch screen as an option
Dude, where is this video shot!?...
In your home
you cant tap the + and - on the volume, only swipe?
I'm an entire year late but yes, you can press them as buttons you don't have to use them as touch sensitive
The 2019 has a volume knob.
5:17 15.7 CUBIC FT CARGO
I see it’s still loud in the cabin...I have a Civic and I hate that the most, and the cramped driver seat
joshua morales I’m 6’7” and I fit in the Civic better then the Accord.
What year is yours?
6:18 LANE WATCH ISNT A OPTION. ITS STANDARD ON EVERY TRIM BUT THE BASE
We stand corrected on LaneWatch. Another example of the good value and tech baked into this car. For the record, the Coupe’s bottom two trims (LX and LX-P) also do not offer LaneWatch. But you’re incorrect on cargo space. Our Touring sedan has 14.7 cubic feet and all other sedans have 15.1. See: automobiles.honda.com/civic-sedan/specifications.aspx
+CarGurus sorry for my mistake. i kindly appreciate your response.
The KIA Forte EX offers all the same safety features as an option. I’m not promoting the KIA. I’m in the search of a new car and the Forte was one I came across.
Yeah except the kia is as reliable as a Honda
Would prefer test drive of BASE MODEL which is bought by 50% of Civic owners.
No one is going to confuse the front end of this car to a BMW. The design language is completely different. Let's be honest, anyone that knows the bare minimum about cars can distinguish the iconic BMW headlights vs those of any other brand. This reviewer, in my opinion, tries much too hard to over exaggerate the Civic. Just be realistic.
no blind spot warning,fail.
Its got a dam camera for blind spot. Turn on right blinker and the whole dash screen shows your blind spot.
I meant the driver's side. I drove a sonata with it. Very cool.
Guys, look closely at the drivers side left mirrors far edge. It curves a bit to give you that blind spot angle. You know, like the circle mirrors you buy from pep boys and out on? This one is built in to the far left edge of the mirror. Check it out.
@@jasenrock poor boy
You that bad at driving that you need to rely on that?
is that a commercial or test. you campared this crap to benz and bmw!
Yea you cant compare this Cvic to a Benz or BMW . They cost 2 - 3 times as much and are always breaking down
Please don't compare that crap to Benz
cough* hater
jasonteow I know Honda and benz the same
Only crap here is you!
Yes! It makes the Benz look bad! Benz the most unreliable German car.
Hahaha benz is crap so is BMW. Honda is way more superior , reliable
