I think it’s because the term was labeled “soft skills”. Embracing your Human Skills is a play on words BUT it’s very important. One word change! Thank you Simon!

Yeap. The interviewer ticks all the boxes of the “thanks for your 15 years of service but the company is taking another direction” type

Self-determination is superior, praise, demonstration of function, and gamification will likely be necessary to employ for future successes.
There are so many fantastic shifts that can be applied here.

Thank you Simon for highlighting that most people were not taught soft skills (ahem, people skills). We are glad to inform you that there is now an NGO doing just that. And to top it off, participants earn a standardized credential called 'World Civility Index'. Employees can earn 'points' under this index on topics such as social etiquette, empathy and intercultural awareness.

You put in so much into these interviews I feel as it won’t be fair not to give our feedbacks. It is such a long Q&A but few points I observed and will comment on. Trust can be obtained through screen my family made great friends that way. Back in the days they had newspapers where people wrote to one another and introduced themselves and eventually met and became lifelong friends we call them our aunties 😊 there was an article I read that most who betray trust are the ones from circle that people knew from many years. I think with Covid people often focus on financial losses what about having a conversation with someone who lost their loved one to Covid. I hear these stories and come to in contact with them daily. Who am I to say is it real or not? When I hear people going through this and are in heart aches. All we can do is listen and pay our sympathy . The only question I ask myself is do I want to be in those people’s shoes who actually went through this tragedy and my answer to myself is Hell Noo because you can’t put price on people’s feelings.

@Simon Sinek Many a times, l've seen that people in management are doing people pleasing at office to get their work done but their personal life is screwed up, they are not showing their human behaviour at home, they are taking their family for granted

As a millennial that would like to be in leadership, I am also very money driven. The company culture could be awesome but I would rather have the money so I can pay off all the debt that I have and hopefully save up enough to retire and buy a house. Yes, sad but true, at the rate things are going I don't see my self ever being able to buy a house until I am about to retire. The only way I could is if I take some high risks with the hope that I get a high reward. So far, each time I have tried that, I have gotten back just enough to compensate for my initial investment. Whether that is time, money or energy, it doesn't matter. I risk a lot and get a little.

J.C. Kumarappa - Indian philosopher and economist
    NATURE OF WORK
“If the nature of the work is properly appreciated and applied, it will stand in the same relation to the higher faculties as food is to the physical body. It nourishes and enlivens the higher man and urges him to produce the best he is capable of. It directs his free will along the proper course and disciplines the animal in him into progressive channels. It furnishes an excellent background for man to display his scale of values and develop his personality.”
    IN VERSE
When work's true essence is understood,
It uplifts the soul, like nourishing food.
Just as sustenance for the flesh we seek,
It fuels the spirit, making talents peak.
It guides the higher faculties to shine,
    Inspiring greatness, urging the divine.
Within its grasp, our free will aligns,
And tames the beast, as progress unwinds.
A canvas for virtues and values to show,
A stage for personality to grow.
Work grants the backdrop for man to display,
His worth, his purpose, on life's grand array.
